Sun Seekers By Rosie Reviews (7)

Hello,We have responded to this complaint and the issue has been resolved. Thank you, SunSeekers by Rosie

Horrible company, horrible business practices, horrible customer service. Very poor and irresponsible staff and have been continuously deducting money fro. My account even after I cancelled my account. Staff are literally liars, they are only concerned with selling and not ethical or responsible business practices. I have reported them to the Revdex.com. Worst. Experience. Ever. There are a million places to tan I suggest you go elsewhere and save yourself the headache!

The membership program is little more than a scam. I signed up for the membership and paid the entire six months regardless of whether I used the service or not. Upon the end of the six months, I called to cancel the membership. I was told to come into the store to cancel. Once I got there I was then told it was too late to cancel for the next month; I was told I had to mail in a form to their main office for cancellation. I made my last payment on the 15th but according to them it was too late to cancel so I had to pay for an additional month of service on the following 15th of next month that I'm not even going to use.

Review: I filled out a form to close my account Jan 4, 2016. The girl working at the desk printed a form and had me sign and told me she would "take care of it". I completed the proper paper work and was once again billed in Feb 2016. When I spoke to the manager in March 2016 the manager told me a form was "never printed". She made no attempt to resolve the issue and just kept insisting the paper work was never completed even though it was in fact filled out and signed by me in the store on Jan 4th. When I discovered my account was still open I told them I would continue to use it but when I tried to tan they told me I owed even more money although I thought my membership had already been cancelled. So I have basically paid for 2 months of tanning that I was unable to use.Desired Settlement: Refund of my payment they took out of my account Feb 24 2016.

Review: I went into Seekers for a cancellation form in the middle of January. I filled out the form and mailed it to their cancellation office in Green Bay per the instructions on the sheet. Several business days later I recieved a call from Sunseekers wanting to verify that I would like to cancel my membership. I said that yes, I would like to cancel at this time. They said that was fine and my last payment date would be charged to my credit card on 2/17/15.

I noticed that a charge came out for March and April. I called the location last week and they said that they would take my name and number and submit it to the billing department and I should expect a call within 2 business days. I did not recieve a call after 4 business days so I called the corporate customer service line and [redacted] let me know that they did not have my form anymore and I would have to submit a new one. I let her know that I did not agree that this should happen and she said that she would refund me for 1 month (which was fine) then stop the deductions going forward.

It has been 3 business days since that has happened and have not recieved a refund. What I am most concerned about is making sure that I am not charged again.Desired Settlement: I would like for Sunseekers to stop charging my account.

Hello,

Review: I wanted to purchase some tanning sessions and use a coupon mailed to me. It was a certain amount off when you spend a certain amount. After talking to the girl at the desk, she told me that I would be able to only use the coupon on either one of their two package deals that required a joiner fee and that I would have to send in a cancellation notice right away so that the monthly rate would not be automatically taken out every month. She told me that the coupon would work but the can only run the card on a certain date every month. After sending in my cancellation notice so that I would be only charged the one month like she said, I found out that the full amount was withdrawn (not taking the coupon amount off) and that there is a two month minimum which she never told me and did not say on the sign.Desired Settlement: I do not want to be charged for a second month and would like the coupon amount back.

The place promised my wife tanning for a certain rate that apparently was being discounted. They also sold her an over priced product that was "on-sale". Credit card bill is different from what was described. Called the store to ask for full refund on tanning service and unused lotion but they will not offer refund for anything. State law requires refund to be offered unless signed/written in contract. No contract was ever signed for the service. Do not deal with this company.
