I have used Sun State three times now and have been very satisfied with their serviceI use them rather than the people the home warranty company recommendsPolite, prompt, and prices are very fair

The compassion of the woman scheduling our appointment and the professionalism of the techs that came out to fix our unit, everything was positiveThe service we received made being without air conditioning on two of the hottest days of the year not seem so badThey truly do care about the customer!

Sun State Warranty came to fix our A/C as a result of the request we put into our Home Warranty Both on the phone and in person, everyone I spoke with was friendly, courteous and knowledgeable They originally came last week to inspect the unit and were able to make an immediate repair to help us stay cool and noticed that our other unit had a compressor that was faulty, plus the coils needed to be cleaned We had to wait a few days for the part to be ordered and the office communicated with us to let us know the status of when to expect delivery, called to let us know it had been delayed, and then arranged for when they would be back out to install it They came at the time they said they would, made the repairs and all with a friendly disposition We would certainly be happy to use them again in the future

Sun State Refrigeration has serviced our AC/Furnaces for several yearsWe returned from a short vacation to discover that the smaller of the two external units was not working resulting in warm air being blow into our bedrooms
Lesson Learned: We have a home warranty so the first call was to the warranty company who could not offer a service call for hours and this in is late June!
I called Sun State as a backup option even though they don’t work with our current warranty company, Sean and Alex arrived within one hour of me making the call, replaced a capacitor and were on their way in less than half an hourStrongly encourage the alignment of ones home warranty with those companies with whom Sun State Refrigeration is contracted in order to facilitate their immediate support in a crisis
You simply cannot beat this family run operation for its exceptional customer care, responsiveness, technical knowledge and just being down-right good and honest folk

12-28-Sun State installed a new AC unit on my home They completed the Warranty Registration with RUUD online and gave me the confirmation print out Since installation freon has had to be added timesThey continued to misdiagnosis the problem, and give me costly bills On the last visit it was diagnosed to be the coils in the unit went bad The warranty states "year warranty all parts and year labor"The labor for the visit within that year should have been covered and if initially correctly diagnosed the parts and labor would have been covered and future visits unnecessarySun State then wanted $1,to replace coils and refused to credit back the previously billed amountsThey also said that my warranty was not in effect because I did not register the equipment I agreed that I did not register it due to the them giving the Warranty Registration Confirmation print out and in their handwriting it says "I registered your equipment online for you"I email the

I normally would not write a review, but the service was so horrible I felt it was needed Our AC wasn't working properly and the home warranty sent out Sun State Refrigeration I had already paid the service fee online but when they showed up only my wife was home and they charged her the fee again After that they said the only thing wrong was the thermostat wasn't working and they replaced a smart thermostat with a bare-bones bottom of the line basic unit They then told her that we would have to wait hours to see if the system was truly working After hours the AC unit still wasn't working I tried calling Sun State Refrigeration multiple times with no answer, even left voice mails for Dorena and never got any call backs After several days of trying I called the home warranty and for one confirmed they should have replaced the thermostat with a similar quality unit, meaning it should have been another smart thermostat even if a different brand However after explaining I had tried to call them for days and begged them to send another company out to fix it they said they had not received any paper work from the company to see what they even did so could not send a 2nd company until they received that information Also I told them they charged us a 2nd service fee so home warranty credited my account However after waiting several days Sun State did not get back to the Home Warranty company as to confirm what work was performed but luckily the home warranty finally sent out another AC repair guy since it was Summer and had taken so long When he got there he looked at one thing and instantly identified a bad part of the AC unit My wife later said that the Sun State Guys never even went out side and checked anything on the unit itself And finally when I thought this was all over, the home warranty company contacts me weeks later saying Sun State claimed to have never got the service fee, luckily I had the invoice to prove my wife paid! I honestly can't believe this company is even in business operating this way Then they had the audacity to send an email burst advertising for yearly AC maintenance checks As far as their website claims: Honest - Nope, Reliable - Nope, Trustworthy - Nope and Fewest complaints - I doubt it Do not use this company

We were without air and they came out and repaired our air conditioning unit within minutesThe technicians were polite and extremely knowledgeableWithin half an hour after repairs our home was completely cooled downThey arrived exactly at the time they said they would and called when minutes outI strongly recommend this business

The business owners Mrs. [redacted] and her son [redacted] are very pleasant professional people. [redacted] is very knowledgeable, definitely an expert at his job and takes time to answer any questions you might have, explains you what is the problem and what needs to be fixed. Their charges are reasonable and scheduling time is really fast too. I wouldn't hire anybody else except them... they are my company for ever! :-)

I found Sun State Refrigeration and appliance company a top notch company. I had Home Protect Warranty company and they were the ones that recommended Sun State refrigeration. I was very impressed by the prompt professional service I received from Sun State Refrigeration. The office people worked great with my Home Protect Warranty company and the service technician was on time, very knowledgeable and was a pleasure to deal with. The problem was fixed at the time of the first service call and was done at a very reasonable cost. Five star company !!!

Company Came out to fix an A/C unit through my home warranty. 8 days later on a friday at 3:30 pm the unit went out again. When I contacted the company they were rude, unprofessional, and argumentative. They would not agree to come out to fix their work until Monday and were ok leaving a family without A/C during the summer in AZ. Beware of this company. The work they do is horrible!!!
