At the end of the exam, they said the charge was $and that they would submit it to Medicare and the balance to Blue Cross Blue Shield. But my wife is not eligible for Medicare and has a different health insurance providerThey had someone else's records, even though they just made copies of her driver's license and insurance card! Were they also using someone else's medical records?! When we told them that they must have the wrong record they said that if we didn't pay the full amount on the spot, they would not give her the antibiotic prescription that they said she needed and had printed (The medicine was not included in the $charge)

I am rejecting this response because:  False statements were given by the two employees, other facts were omitted, and other violations were not adressed.  Facts:
1)  Before taking my wife back to be seen, we were told only that my wife's insurance would cover the visit.
2)  Only some time after my wife was taken back to be seen, did a different employee come out to tell me that the insurance wan not going to cover the visit.
3)  The front desk employee was eating a hot dog, which is a violation.
4)  The front desk employee told me that our visit would be covered by Medicare and Blue Cross/Blue Shield.  My wife does not have Medicare or Blue Cross/Blue Shield.  They were obviously looking at someone else's records, not my wife's.  That is also a violation.
5)  The business web site says that non-insurance covered office visits are $100.  They charged my wife $299.
6)  I never yelled, but I was firm and direct.  The business refused to allow me to pay half of the bill then and half later; and said they would not give my wife her medicine if we did not pay in full immediately. That is a violation
