I am writing this in regards to the letter I received from a complaining previous customer(***) who hasn’t visited our salon since November ***, and then put
in a complaint months laterThere were plenty of wrong accusations in the *** complaintAs immature as this may sounds this whole thing is over a “love triangle” between an ex employee(***) and *** were close friends and are not anymoreThe note on her account was in regards to a few instances *** had with employees(one of them being ***)A few of the instances were: *** threw her credit card at ***(ex employee), she began getting high tempered after not hearing back after an interview, she lost her temper if an employee didn’t correctly acknowledge her to her standardsAlso all of our employees at the salon summit to random supervised drug tests(any failed test results in termination)The *** called *** and tried to reason with until she got out of control and there wasn’t any progress being madeThe *** never left a voicemail threatening herThe *** was in the process of relocating his salon therefore he didn’t have time to call her for an hour straight nor would he have a reason to*** then called the *** demanding that she be allowed to finish her package under the terms that the *** could not call, be there or show up to his own business if she was thereShe was informed that her demands could not be met and at that time began verbal and physical threatsThe *** was informed by the *** about ***s’ threats to do verbal and physical damage to his salon which resulted in a police report filed against herThe report stated that *** was threating to break the windows and therefore if she came back to the salon she would be arrested for trespassingThen *** stated she wanted to continue to use her $74.99(not $100) package which she had purchased on November ***, and used on the *** and *** of NovemberWe do have a no refund policy which is posted in salon and on receiptsWe can offer store credit but being that the complainant wasn’t allowed by law on property store credit wasn’t an option

The reason as to why *** was not able to continue using her package was due to the fact that she threatened the business and it got to the point where the cops were called, and a report was filedThe report stated that if she were to return to the salon, she would be arrested for trespassingShe legally banned herself from the salon. Also, at the bottom of her statement, she mentions that if she does not receive money she will be contacting the Department of Consumer Affairs and Attorney General’s Office which, in legal terms, is considered “blackmail.”

It is apparent the *** is out to falsify information and discriminate against meAlthough there has been no "live triangle" as I am a heterosexual female, by his reply he has insulted any and every homosexual client that may have or will have enter his businessI am sure that all the tape evidence has been destroyed or altered in the ***s interestI am requesting a full refund for the sessions I did not a get a chance to use due to the *** cursing me out, insulting me and not allowing me the use of the services I had paid forI am also still requesting a proper apology for the emotional distressI had become friends with one of the employees at the salon who disclosed all of the nasty information which was written about me in the system at the salonHowever by the time of this incident that employee no longer was employed with the company in question and had nothing to do with any of this. I am seeking in a full reimbursement for the services which I was unable to use due to the *** forbidding me back on the property. If I do not receive a full refund I will proceed with filing a complaint with the department of consumer affairs as well as NY attorney general office. Sincerely,

Review: First of I would like to state that I had to wait until I moved to a different state to file a complaint because I was afraid the [redacted] would do physical harm to me. I was a member of the salon for approximately 1 year when one of the employees disclosed to me that next to my name it stated "[redacted]" in the computer system. I became very upset and asked for the [redacted] to call me back, the [redacted] had his "[redacted]", and I use this term lightly as every time I entered the salon this person was talking about going for a run to obtain her drugs ([redacted]). I requested once again for the [redacted] to call me back, when he did call back, he started off by leaving me a threatening voice mail which I had presented to the police. After that he continued to call non-stop for the following hour (I have phone records to prove this). When I finally answered the phone, the [redacted] screamed at me, using foul language, calling me, and I quote "a [redacted]", "a [redacted]", "a [redacted]". I was not going to stay on the phone and take this abuse so I hung up. The [redacted] pays most of his employees under the table so he does not have to claim them for tax reasons. The [redacted] told me I was never to visit his facility again. That would be fine if I hadn't just paid $100 for a tanning package prior to this verbal altercation. The [redacted] refused to give me the money back and stated, and I quote "[redacted]".Desired Settlement: I am asking your agency to obtain a written apology from the [redacted] as well as the $100 refund for services which were NEVER USED! I also would like $100 on top of the money I had paid for emotional distress (I was so upset I had to miss work that day) and interest
