They will not cancel my contract or refund my deposit although the bank does not have my info yet
I went in on a Saturday November 25th and I purchased a Ford escape at closingI got home and my dad who was not withe at time of purchase looked over the contract and said it was a bad dealI feel they took advantage of me and I can't afford this vehicleI took it back Monday when they opened because they were closed Sunday and asked they cancel the contract because the payments with insurance was something I could not affordThey refused to give me my deposit back or cancel the contractI called the bank they did the loan with and they had nothing on meThey told me the reason they could not cancel the loan is because it's been processed but the bank does not have any information on me when I called MondayThey were rude and just wanted to make money off of me and I can't afford itI took the vehicle back Monday and they currently have it and the dealership along with the keys

I recently purchased a Ford Fusion from the Ford dealership in Americus Ga, I have always tried to keep my business locally I was sold a car with recalls on it and was not informed of them or of the " extended warranties with Ford" and only after making my 3rd car payment , my car broke down...(power steering went out while my child was driving) Having to get it towed from point A to point B was covered under insurance, but when discover it was a recall had to tow it from point B to C and insurance only covers one tow Ford refused to refund me for the extra tow, saying I should have towed it to them in the first place Keep in mind I did not know it was a recall that was the cause of the break down I went in to the Ford place after the finally got my car fixed to only be told that now I need a new CV joint When I talked to the manager Chase he informed me that there was nothing he could do or would do, that it was natural ware and tare for the car He also let me know that because it was a recall that it cost me nothing and I should be grateful I guess he is for getting my extra tow and the inconvenience of being with out a car I left after telling him I would never purchase another car from them or any other ford place again He never even got up out of his chair through this whole conversation Worst experience I have ever had

I am very sorry for the obvious miscommunication that has occurredThis customer called and asked to be picked up and wanted to purchase an automobile*** *** nor myself *** *** had any knowledge of dementia or the fact there was not a licenseIt is and always has been a policy that a
person must be of sound mind and posses a drivers license to purchase a carIt is also a policy of privacy that we do not discuss personal information with othersI personally apologize if anyone including myself spoke unprofessionally to the individuals involvedI will assure you that there has not and will not be any vehicle sold to someone who suffers from these issues and doesn't posses a drivers license

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.[Provide details of why you are not satisfied with this resolution.]
Regards,
[redacted]
The response by the [redacted] on behalf of Sunbelt Ford of Americus was clearly scripted and made only to save face with your organization.  To illustrate the point, I would like to offer more details that occurred during our multiple contacts with this dealer.  Again, my father called and spoke directly with [redacted] in April after she made an unsolicited phone call to my grandmother trying to sell her a car.  At this point [redacted] was told that my grandmother has dementia and no longer has a driver's license and was advised not to contact her again. When my father found out about the elderly abduction on 6/22/15, he reached out to the manager([redacted]) on the phone to attempt to stop the transaction.  He was told rudely by [redacted] that he "would sell a car to anybody he wants to." My husband who has past experience in high ticket retail decided to intervene and made a call to his friend who owns a car lot in Valdosta.  He was told that it was unlawful to sell a person without a license or insurance a car.  Also, it was highly improbable that any lending institution or insurance company would extend credit or protection to an unlicensed elderly woman with dementia.  Also, he was told that it is impossible to tag and title a car without a valid driver's license.  He then proceeded to call and talk with [redacted] to diffuse the situation before my father's arrival. At that point we realized what level of risk my grandmother's financial well being was in.  Given the fact that it was highly unlikely for a  lender to agree to finance an automobile for her, I strongly feel that the dealership intended to convince her to pay cash which would essentially wipe out her entire life savings.  Because of his sales background and understanding of the overall picture, my husband was able to have a decent conversation with [redacted] other than [redacted] disagreeing with him about the fact that it is unlawful and unethical to sell a person in this condition a vehicle(He actually stated that Ray Charles bought a car and if he could then anybody could).  As the conversation was ending, my husband asked him to please do what is right and actually assured him that my father was actually a very quiet and non confrontational person therefore he asked him to help him through this delicate matter.  My husband was actually on the phone when my father entered his office and hung up thinking everything was resolved.  We were both shocked when we heard of the details that actually occurred during their visit.  These include but are not limited to another reassurance that they could "sell a car to anybody they want" spiel.  My father spoke with [redacted] and clearly sensing the dealer's intentions to move forward with the sale, he asked to speak with his mother in private. He was allowed to enter the salesperson's office([redacted]) and began to talk with his mother when [redacted] interfered and interrupted their conversation.  A disagreement occurred and [redacted] said he needed to talk to her manager([redacted]), so they returned to his office.  He again requested to speak privately with my grandmother and asked that they stay away and not interfere.   He was told directly by [redacted] that it was [redacted]'s dealership and he would "go where he pleased."  He was then allowed to go to the salesperson's office  and briefly spoke to his mother alone who agreed to leave with him.  As this was wrapping up, [redacted] entered the office and announced that this was "her office" and he "better get out why he still could."  At this point they both left while they "still could".  When my husband received the details, he again was shocked and reached out to [redacted] who would not take his call therefore requested [redacted] and was connected.  Very professionally he stated who he was and that he had previously talked to [redacted] and wanted to make sure that the decision had been made not to pursue any future attempts to sell my grandmother a car.  He also mentioned that his father in law had spoken with them and asked her directly if we could just consider this deal "closed and over."  When my father was mentioned [redacted] told my husband that my father was a "STRAIGHT UP DONKEY " and proceeded to hang up on my husband during his response.  Our final contact with the dealership occurred the next day (6/23/15) when my father called and notified [redacted] that my grandmother actually lived on his property and they were unwelcome on it and should not attempt to pick her up in the future.  [redacted] again acted unprofessionally and made sarcastic comments like he "was really scared" etc.  We also attempted to call the owner of the dealership twice, leaving 2 messages and our calls have not been returned.
