Inferior Product and Service
As prior review - we paid thousands of dollars for a louvered sunroof. 4 years later the louvres do not close properly and the roof leaks everywhere. Our costly furniture has been damaged and employees simply state "That's too bad". Multiple supposed "service" people have been out to look at it but no-one knows how to repair it! We are left with garbage!

Big Disappointment
Very disappointing service and product. After months following installation of them trying to fix issues we have an enclosure that still is misaligned, leaks, and the windows won't stay closed. We paid thousands of dollars for a lemon.

Second room we have done.
This is the second time we have had an enclosure installed by Suncoast. We loved the first one so much that when we moved to our new home it was on the top of our must have list. Geoff in the Ottawa office was a pleasure to deal with. He was very responsive and kept us up to date every step of the way. He held true to his timeline. Connor and his crew who built our custom room were wonderful to have here and very hard working young men. The did such a wonderful job that we have two neighbours who are now waiting for their beautiful rooms to be installed. I think they are only the start for this subdivision! Thank you so much Geoff and team….we are loving every second of our room!

Love our 3 season enclosure!
This is our second go around with this company. We missed our 3 season so much when we moved that we wanted the same for our new home. Geoff the GM has been an absolute pleasure to deal with. He is very responsive and we are confident that if any issues arise they will be addressed in no time. The crew (Connor and Paul for the first 3 days, Marley came along for the final one) were a shear pleasure to have here. These young men worked so hard, we honestly miss seeing them. We are looking forward to the indows coming, but, for the time being love our bug free evenings. Many thanks Geoff, Connor, Paul and Marley, LOVE IT!

We purchased and had installed a sunroom by Suncoast Enclosures in May and have had major issues with the roof ever sinceThe roof causes extreme popping and snapping noises that are quite unbearable and stressful They did attempt to fix in Sept2016, however the noise continuedAfter continued complaints to Suncoast for over a year, they did replace gaskets in August in hopes this would fix the issue, however it has notWe have complained continually sinceAgain this spring we have asked to have this fixed, their response was there is nothing they can do as they do not know what the issue isAfter being persistent and continued emails this spring, they now have told us they would send a service guy to check, but again, emails for a date are ignoredRecordings of the loud noises have been sent to them, so they are aware of how loud this is

When we bought our Suncoast Enclosure, we had one of the roof panels that had moisture vapor inside of it We were told that this wasn't an issue and were assured that there was nothing wrong with the roof panel Initially, it just remained as water vapor but now the panel has developed a red mould inside and looks disgusting from within the sun room It is the only roof panel that has done this All the others have remained clear of moisture so there was obviously something wrong with this particular panel from day one I have phoned Suncoast and e-mailed them and have received no response at all I called and e-mailed on August I do not know how else to get someone to respond as I would like the roof panel replaced

We feel badly for the trouble the *** have had trying to obtain a permit for their enclosureWe have supplied the Beaumont town inspector with our professionally done engineered specifications and drawings as well as our structural
review letter and our handrail specsThe problem with this particular case is that the permit officer at the town of Beaumont has decided that our Engineer stamped specs aren't sufficient for him and wants specifically stamped drawings of the ***'s deck and enclosureNo other municipality in Alberta requires this heavy a burden on companiesThe town of Beaumont didn't either until this officer became involvedIt would cost each customer over $1,if they all had to have an engineer personally inspect each enclosure we buildIt is simply a case of him not being familiar with our products and covering himself for any possible outcomeThe point of engineered drawings is so that people in his position don't need to know every product in detail which is impossibleWe spent a huge amount of money to have our products tested and approved by a reputable engineering firm
This all happened in the middle of the winter when we are normally in our down seasonI was away quite a bit on business as well but we are back at it now and I am still willing to help the *** family however I canWe do seem to be at a bit of a dead end as the town councilor is holding things upI have recently met personally with the head supervisor at the City of Edmonton and he has personally approved our engineeringI hope to do the same in Beaumont

[redacted] This customer is a complicated issue, we have been out to see her many times and attempted to resolve the issue. At this...

point I believe that the problem may lie in faulty roof shingling as our system is properly installed and up to standard. I know that can be hard to take for a customer as they spend this money and then expect it to be perfect and rightly so. Because of that I have sent Two different crews back on multiple occasions to try and fix it at our expense. I will be sending another crew back this spring and accompanying them as well to see if there's anything we can do. It may come down to the fact that her roof shingles are faulty but I hope we can fix it. As she states in her complaint we have not abandoned her and we are aware of the problem. My crews are off for the winter and won't start again until April so we will not be able to look at it until after the snow melts. [redacted]
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2015/01/22) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I would like to believe that they will come and fix it but [redacted] I guess time will tell as to whether or not they come out again in the spring 2015.
