John G.,owner of Suncoast Glass,tried to fix leaking window.The repair wasnt successful because the window continues to leak.He wont return calls.
I wish I had done more research before I hired John G., the owner of Suncoast Glass. He overcharged ($325 for less than 45 minutes of work) for attempting to repair a window that was leaking. I contacted him 3 weeks after the "fix" because the window was still leaking. At first he said he was out of town for several days. After waiting for him to arrive back home, I texted him several times about scheduling a day to come back out. After no response, I called him. I think he answered the phone by mistake, but he said he'd come out 3 days later, mid-day. Well that never happened. Now he won't answer my calls and I can't leave a voicemail because his mailbox is full. After doing more research, I found out other customers have had the same issue. He does not accept credit cards, only cash and checks. Hmmm, wonder why?
I would like a refund so that I may hire another company to repair my window. I am willing to allow him to keep $50 for the time it took him to drive to my rental property.
Hello *** , I have been doing this type of work for 15 years+ ,the work I completed at your property was completed properly as all my work is ,your building has a long history of leaking as you even had me give your neighbors a quote because they have had everything patched several times and still was not effective in stopping the water intrusion, the leaking must be coming from a different area then dripping down the interior of the wall then down to the window frame . I can only seal around the window as that is what we were hired to do , we are more than willing to go out to your property and complete a water test on the WINDOW to PROVE ITS NOT leaking . Yes I was on vacation when you called ,I went a second time as we had scheduled and could not find any leaking around the window , we will not be issuing any type of refund just because of the fact that we completed the work we were hired for witch was to seal the window. I dont know why you say we only accept cash and check ,because we accept all major credit cards ,statements like that de legitimize your complaint because its simply not true . We have had a 5 year history of happy customers and we will continue with our efforts .
