Our intention is to never leave a negative feeling with a client, so we came back out added more soil, reseeded and re-fertilized at our expenseLush grass is absolutely possible, but it requires a lot of maintenance careOften we do not realize how much time is required to maintain a beautiful lawn, grass is a living breathing item- that requires time We have spent extra time covering the required maintenance, on multiple occasions, with the homeowner on siteGrass requires re-seeding in spots that are not growing in, fertilizing not only for growth and health, but weed control- as well This home is in the mountains, and had snow/ice sitting on the lawn for an unusually long amount of time for our areaThis is very damaging to our lawns, especially when they are in the new stage of developmentThis area of the yard may need to be reseeded again in the spring when the ground temperatures begin to warm upAs we are already past time time for the remainder of the yearI am willing to work with the homeowners, but this will have to wait until late springWe will go out look and review the area again- we are willing to overseed and fertilize for the second time at no charge, but this will conclude any additional services on this areaWe have had a conversation with the homeowners regarding the shaded lawn, informing them of the need to reseed this lawn on a annual basis

I have taken care of numerous lawns since we owned our first home in and I'm well aware of the time and money involved in proper feeding, weeding and, when necessary, reseeding a lawn in order for it to look its best. When we originally contacted Suncrest to get a bid on our landscaping we stressed to them the concerns we had with the existing grading and potential standing water issues and/or run off issues Suncrest assured us that they would properly grade the land so we wouldn't have standing water issues and/or run off issues so we decided to move forward with the landscaping We contacted Suncrest last year as we were having standing water issues and poor growth in areas of the lawn Suncrest came out last fall and reseeded our lawn and, to encourage even better growth, we fenced off the area they had just treated and that area has been fenced off ever since that dateWe had a beautiful summer and our lawn should have completely come in lush and healthy I treated the entire lawn numerous times with fertilizer and I also treated it with weed killer About 80% of our yard (where we have proper runoff and grading) the lawn looks great The problems continue to exist in the areas where we have standing water The grass is patchy in those areas and you can see countless areas where the ground is visible Shawn states that the problem area is the shaded area and this is not true The areas where we are having the worst problems get plenty of sunshine each day The shady area he is referring to was on the south side of the home and that tree line was moved back last year, at his recommendation, to allow sunshine to get to that area for lawn growth We contacted Shawn in September, as we are still having the same issues we had last year, and one of the delayed responses we received from his wife was that they had discussed the issue about our lawn on several occasions and that Shawn was trying to come up with a resolve for the issue We believe as though 'reseeding' isn't a resolve that will work, as it didn't work last year and this is clearly an ongoing drainage problemLate in September we received an email from Shawn stating that he would "address the issue in some way" If a simple reseeding would solve the problem then we would be happy to do that but it hasn't worked to date We can't see how a healthy lawn can grow in an area that is saturated with water and has no proper drainage or runoff Almost weeks after the reply from Shawn we still hadn't received a plan of action, a date the problem would be addressed or any other contact from Shawn which is why we decided to move forward with a formal complaint We feel that we have been more than patient We paid the bill we were given but we feel that our lawn problems are being dismissed since the monies have exchanged hands We just want a healthy, beautiful lawn that we were assured we would have.Sincerly, *** * *** ***

lawn, grass is a living breathing item- that requires time.  We have spent extra time covering the required maintenance, on multiple occasions, with the homeowner on site. Grass requires re-seeding in spots that are not growing in, fertilizing not only for growth and health, but weed control- as well.  This home is in the mountains, and had snow/ice sitting on the lawn for an unusually long amount of time for our area. This is very damaging to our lawns, especially when they are in the new stage of development. This area of the yard may need to be reseeded again in the spring when the ground temperatures begin to warm up. As we are already past time time for the remainder of the year. I am willing to work with the homeowners, but this will have to wait until late spring. We will go out look and review the area again- we are willing to  overseed and fertilize for the second time at no charge, but this will conclude any additional services on this area. We have had a conversation with the homeowners regarding the shaded lawn, informing them of the need to reseed this lawn on a annual basis.

I have taken care of numerous lawns since we owned our first home in 1991 and I'm well aware of the time and money involved in proper feeding, weeding and, when necessary, reseeding a lawn in order for it to look its best.   When we originally contacted Suncrest to get a bid on our landscaping we stressed to them the concerns we had with the existing grading and potential standing water issues and/or run off issues.  Suncrest assured us that they would properly grade the land so we wouldn't have standing water issues and/or run off issues so we decided to move forward with the landscaping.  We contacted Suncrest  last year as we were having standing water issues and poor growth in areas of the lawn.  Suncrest came out last fall and reseeded our lawn and, to encourage even better growth, we fenced off the area they had just treated and that area has been fenced off ever since that date. We had a beautiful summer and our lawn should have completely come in lush and healthy.  I treated the entire lawn numerous times with fertilizer and I also treated it with weed killer.  About 80% of our yard (where we have proper runoff and grading) the lawn looks great.  The problems continue to exist in the areas where we have standing water.  The grass is patchy in those areas and you can see countless areas where the ground is visible.      Shawn states that the problem area is the shaded area and this is not true.  The areas where we are having the worst problems get plenty of sunshine each day.  The shady area he is referring to was on the south side of the home and that tree line was moved back last year, at his recommendation, to allow sunshine to get to that area for lawn growth.      We contacted Shawn in September, as we are still having the same issues we had last year, and one of the delayed responses we received from his wife was that they had discussed the issue about our lawn on several occasions and that Shawn was trying to come up with a resolve for the issue.  We believe as though 'reseeding' isn't a resolve that will work, as it didn't work last year and this is clearly an ongoing drainage problem. Late in September we received an email from Shawn stating that he would "address the issue in some way".  If a simple reseeding would solve the problem then we would be happy to do that but it hasn't worked to date.  We can't see how a healthy lawn can grow in an area that is saturated with water and has no proper drainage or runoff.  Almost 6 weeks after the reply from Shawn we still hadn't received a plan of action, a date the problem would be addressed or any other contact from Shawn which is why we decided to move forward with a formal complaint.  We feel that we have been more than patient.  We paid the bill we were given but we feel that our lawn problems are being dismissed since the monies have exchanged hands.  We just want a healthy, beautiful lawn that we were assured we would have.Sincerly,  [redacted]
