To whom it may concern,Good afternoon and thank you for the opportunity to respond to this complaint. We are familiar with this customer and we are well aware of his feelings about the work we did. We take pride in what we do. I take pride in being an owner. I'm not surprised by what this gentleman...

had to say but amazed with his spin off of the events were.Mr. [redacted] inquired about fixing the dash on Cadillac. We quoted him a two day return time on just the dash and he proceeded to have the work done. He called the following day and added the two pillars on the car and the center console. We told him that adding the additional parts would add another two days to the return time plus one day for Sundaybecause we are closed. He said please take your time. Prior to the initial drop off of the car techs at the shop did a complete walk through on the car and noted areas or distress on the almost 20 year old car. Ding dents, leaky fluids, multiple dash light indicators.on and finally the weather beaten dash and interior flaws. The car was ready on that following Monday. The gentleman came in and went for specific parts of the car and started tugging on the dash panels. He stated that they were flawless and not as they are now. We told him that they went in as they came out. I the owner over saw this job personally because we have had tensions in the past with the same person. To oblige Mr.[redacted] we told him we would add clips to the panel's regardless of the fact that the car never came with them in specific locations from Cadillac. We completed the additional work and added a satellite radio receiver to the install for Mr. [redacted] per his request and called him in. He came in and inspected the car and now he was satisfied after we did the extra work for him free of charge and discounted the work as a courtesy. When it was time to pay he attempted to complain further and wanted additional discounts. We stood our ground and told him that will no longer do any work for him but what did do is fully warrantied. He paid his discounted price, and signed off on the work order that he was satisfied with the work and proceeded to leave. The majority of the statements he has made in his complaint are fabricated and false. We are a respected member in the Rancho Cordova community and have been for 22 years. We are here to stay and serve.Thank You[redacted]

Review: I took my car into Sundance Car Audio on Wednesday December 16, 2014,in perfect condition, to have my Dash, front and side pillars, as well as my center console, wrapped in suede, as [redacted] (the owners) suggestion. At that time he told me that my car could be done the Following day which was Thursday, December 17th, that day came and went, I then called him on Friday December 19th and he told me that the car was done, however it needed to dry (from the apoxy glue) and could he keep it until that evening, I agreed, that evening came and he said it wasn't dry and they were waiting on more material for another part of my car, and asked could I wait until Saturday, December 20th to pick it up around 11am, I agreed again, because I wanted everything to be fixed properly. Saturday came and went, no cal from [redacted] until almost 7pm, to let me know the car was ready, but a piece still needed to dry, I told him that I will wait until Monday the 22nd, he then called around 6:30 to let me know my car was done, I informed him that I would be in at 9am Tuesday, December 23. When I arrived he pulled my car around, upon inspection of the finished product, all of the pieces he had wrapped with the exception of the middle console, were falling off, my dash, my wood grain pieces connected to my dash, and all four pillars. When I voiced my concerns [redacted] then told me, that's why he doesn't like working with "people like me", told me my car was brought in like that, told me he would buy my car from me and burn it, said he used to working with high end customers (even thought I am paying $1,100.00 for this service), the insults continued, he said that's why he's closing up shop, basically for me to get my car done the way it should have I had to endure insults and threats from him. I think his level of work and customer service are more than horrible at best, and him and his business should be investigated and or shut down. I am not the first person that have had these issues with this business.Desired Settlement: I believe I should not have had to pay for shabby work and discrimination and insults from Claude. Please investigate his business and work ethics. I feel as a consumer, the product should be more than satisfactory.
