Beware. Manager does not accept even the possibility of scratching the vehicle finish. He then made comments that I should not risk my car again as if to antagonize. Then when I asked to be reimbursed coupons he said that the 2 coupons were not the ones I had paid for but the free ones on a 5 for 3 purchase. After filling out a complaint in the waiting area and returning for my car 2 different scratches were noted in the opposite passenger doors not observed before. He refused to give me a second complaint form

Review: Took my 2008 Toyota Sienna in to be washed. When I got home, I noticed that the l/rear window shade had been pulled out too far and would no longer retract into it's housing. I drove back to the car wash, showed it to the manager, he pulled on it a few times and confirmed it wouldn't retract, had me fill out a damage form, and said he would fax it to "the corporation" and that I would hear from them in 7-10 business days. That was on Aug. 19th 2014. I called on Sept 3th (after not hearing anything) and a different manager told me that it sometimes takes more than 10 days, but that I could email "the corporation". She stated there was nothing else she could do, didn't know who the owner was, didn't have a mailing address, or anything. I emailed "the corporation" on Sept 5th. It is now the 10th and I have yet to receive any kind of response from this business or it "corporation".Desired Settlement: I want my window shade fixed so that it retracts back into it's housing like its supposed to.

Review: Got car washed, and employees damages front passenger [redacted] of car.

I paid for a car wash at Sundance on may 21,2013.

The employees jammed the front passenger seat, and it will no longer slide back on it's track. I spoke with the manager about it, and his solution was to try and jam it around (which did not fix it). He said all I can do is file a complaint form and I will hear back eventually about the situation. I tried to explain that his employees caused the damaged and it had to be fixed. He said I can't do anything else. I filed the complaint via fax and email through the website and still have not heard back from anyone in regards to the damages. When I asked for the owner's contact info, the manager said I can't have it. After arguing with him, he finally gave me a fax number and the general manager's name, although I don't know if it's correct as it was written on a business card. My car is a 1999 Black Jeep Wrangler in top condition. Now I can't let anyone sit in my front seat, as it is jammed forward.Desired Settlement: I wish to have my seat fixed so it can be used again. The seat may have to be removed and parts fixed for it to be properly working again. I understand that I may have to go to my mechanic or the one that Sundance recommends to fix it, but I will not be held financially responsible for the damages that the Sundance employees caused. I wish for Sundance to take financial responsibility for the damages to my front passenger seat.

Business

Response:

Business' Initial Response

As explained to the cu0stomer. We are required to move seats for both cleaning and safety to drive the vehicle. The passenger seat was moved forward to vacuum and we were unable to move back. It is our expectation that parts designed to move can be moved without breaking. This vehicle is a 14 year old vehicle and either came in broken or was going to break with the next movement. We were not negligent in any way. We simply moved the seat forward. Doors opening and closing, windows going up and down, engines turning on. It can not be our responsibility if we use a mechanism in the way it's intended and it mal functions

Consumer's Final Response

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)

Although the car is a 1999, it was purchased from a dealer 2 years ago in almost perfect condition. My car has never had any issues until this incident at sundance car wash. Earlier in the day I had actually moved the seat forward and back pulling out any extra items to make cleaning easier. The fact that it didn't move back after their employee messed with it is an issue. I was the one who found the issue. If it was a malfunction, the manager should have come to me about the issue when it happened rather than leaving it for me to find and approach them about. That just adds to the fact that they don't want to take fault for breaking my seat. And telling me that there is nothing I can do except to wait for a response from someone who doesn't come to the location often is wrong. It took 30 minutes of arguing with the manager to get any kind of contact information for their "corporate" facility, which I didn't get any response until 3 days after I filed with the Revdex.com. The way I was treated and the way the the situation was handled was in the wrong by the company. I wish to have my seat fixed and sundance car wash should be financially responsible. They say they are bonded company, which means if they break their customer's belongings, they are financially responsible to fix it. Sundance needs to step up and take the blame for their mistake.

Review: I received the $119.00 full detail on my 2003 Cadillac CTS. When I returned to pick it up, the attendant informed me that they "vacuumed under the seats the best we could because we could not move your power seats." My seats worked fine when I dropped the car off, and its clear that they moved the seats once as the driver seat is all the way back and the passenger seat is all the way forward. Cadillacs have the fuse and wiring for the power seats under each seat, so I can only gather that they shoved a vaccuum under there and tripped a wire. The manager could only repeat that corporate would be in touch. I told him I cant even reach the gas pedal and its not safe to drive my car in this condition. His only response was to continue stating that corporate would be in touch, and that " we don't touch fuses and we never have problem before." No apology or solution offered at all. Its clear to me they are at fault. I now have to pay out of pocket for the repair at my mechanics shop and hope that corporate will reimburse me. They gave me no time frame as to when someone would be in touch. Terrible customer service, terrible manager communication and flat out liars as to the moving of my seats.Desired Settlement: I would simply like for the business to take responsibility for the damaging of the power seat wiring and pay for the repair.
