Review: Got a flyer on door 4/2013, called for estimate. Signed up 4/2013.

Paid in advance for 5 visits. ~$160 First Visit was 5/2013. Didn't show up afterwards.

Called mid 7/2013, was told they were behind.

Called early 8/1/2013 was told next day visit. No one showed.

Called 2 days later. Asked for Refund. Was REFUSED refund.

Showed up for the "EARLY SPRING" treatment second weekend of AUGUST. On 9/20/2013 requested refund. Was told I would get it "right away".

Keep calling, when there IS an answer at the business I keep getting promised the refund will be issued before the end of the week, when I call the next week I am given an excuse and told that I will get my refund. This borders on fraud. It is nearly a month later.Desired Settlement: Refund of fees for services not performed.

Customer complaint is not entirely correct. Due to a late start for the season, based on weather, we completed applications later than normal. We completed a Spring visit and essentially missed the Early Spring visit which would normally occur in April. Customer was signed up for service on 4/29/13. When he called in August, we did complete that visit which was a summer visit. Thus, we completed 2 visits and the customer agrees with that. However, he was disturbed that the Summer visit should have been done early than it was. When September came for the Fall visit, he asked for a refund and said we didn't show up yet. It was explained that there was still time to complete a fall visit and that he should give us an opportunity. At that time, he wanted to cancel and we agreed.

His refund was processed via credit card refund and he was mailed a receipt.

Refund Processed on card. The refund, as stated below is satisfactory.

I did pay for 5 visits. One was supposed to be early spring, and the other as spring, as stated on the contract I signed with them. I have the receipt from business which shows that it was the second and "Spring" treatment applied in August.

Now that I have the refund, I am done with the complaint. It did take a few tries to get it though.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
