We are unable to travel due to the COVID-19 crisis. Sun host is not allowing us to reschedule or cancel our rental.
We booked a one week rental last March for this years spring break. We are unable to travel due to the COVID-19 crisis. The federal government has banned all nonessential domestic travel. Sunhost is not allowing us to reschedule our reservation. They will not give us any type of refund if we cancel. The reservation has already been paid in full and we will lose well over $2,000.

Since the 80's, my family has rented a condo from Sunhost Resorts every 4th of July. Sometimes, we rent multiple times a year. This year for the 4th of July, I rented unit *** at *** in *** FL. Although the aesthetics were nice, what happened to me was not. I went to bed on Thursday night and on Friday morning I was bitten up all over my back, arms and bikini area while sleeping in the master bedroom of this condo. Thereafter, I pulled up the covers to find blood on the sheet and what appeared to be bug feces under the mattress cover and on the mattress (see photos attached). Upon check out, I notified Sunhost Resorts and showed them the bites, at which time they treated me poorly and denied an issue. Afterwards, I emailed Sunhost Resorts the evidential pictures and after several emails back and forth with Rae P., office manager, and then Tim T., operations manager, nothing was resolved. They deny an issue and refuse to make things right! Instead of trying to keep a loyal guest business, Sunhost Resorts has never acknowledged the bites, never offered an apology for the bites, nor did they make an offer of a refund to make up for receiving the bites in their unit. Unfortunately, Sunhost Resorts doesn't need, nor want my business, my families business, nor my friends business. I am forwarding my complaint to the The Florida Department of Health, The Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation, and The Florida Department of Agriculture. Maybe something will be done then. In addition, I will notify the *** of an issue with pests in the condo, and of their registered agents/management company's inability to handle guests complaints satisfactory.

We rented a unit for our VACATION and was rented RM *** to us as a three bedroom unit from June 25 throughout July XX XXXX when we got to the unit it was a two bedroom unit and a small breakfast nook was turned into a third bedroom I immediately contacted the office and voiced our problem and told them we want a RM THAT IS A three bedroom unit SUNHOST RESORTS told us well that is a TWO BEDROOM UNIT that was converted to a three bedroom and I voiced my tone and told them they can't rent out units and lie to people we have been staying here for a few years for vacation and never had this problem we asked them to move us to a actual unit that is a three bedroom unit and they are completely booked I feel my kids are in a TAMPA BAY CODE VIOLATION AND not safe and asked Sunhost resort to refund us a credit and rent this as a two bedroom unit or put us in a true three bedroom unit they said there not allowed to do that and no units are available
