Owner, [redacted], failed to refund deposit after work was never started.Owner, [redacted], took my $500.00 deposit for a patio to be installed. The work was to start the week of October 6th 2014 and be completed by October 10th. Work was never done and after multiple calls and texts to the owner with no response, I asked for my deposit back. [redacted], did finally respond via text and said he would give the deposit back. After many days of calls and texts and no response, I went to his home and asked him for the deposit. [redacted] said he did not have it and to give him 10-15 days to get it. After 15 days had passed, he responded to my text saying he did not have it and to stop harassing him.Desired Settlement$500.00 deposit back

Paid $1,000 for yard cleanup and flowers. [redacted] cashed both checks but only 50% of the work was completed. I would like my $500 back.Entered into an agreement with Sunny Rose to do an annual yard clean up (remove leaves and debris), mulch shrubs, trim shrubs, plant flowers, and trench the area between the lawn and the tree stand. Gave $500 upfront to start the job and then left another $500 to pay the workers at day's ending (thinking the job would be completed). The workers only did 20% of the job. A couple of days later, other workers finished installing the mulch and removed some of the leaves. Repeated calls have not been returned. I want 50% ($500) back for the unfinished work.Desired SettlementI would like $500 back which represents 50% of the total cost since about 50% of the work was completed.

We had Sunny Rose build a fire pit and patio last year. It is falling apart and they will not come make repairs they promised.In March of 2014, Sunny Rose began a project for us. They were building 2 patios and a fire pit. I made the final payment on May 14, 2014. The first time we used the fire pit, there were multiple "poppings". Some of the slate pieces popped off. Multiple pieces of wood popped out of the fire pit almost hitting our guests. Mr. [redacted] did come out and fix what appeared to be a drain issue. Over Fall/Winter, we noticed several pieces of slate were breaking off of the fire pit. I contacted Mr. [redacted] multiple times before Christmas about this. He did not respond. I contacted him again on 1/2/2015. He replied on 1/7/2015 and said he was sorry, he had taken some time off, and would make repairs as soon as the temperature allowed. Having not heard from him, I emailed him on 4/6/2015 asking when he would be able to come make repairs. To this day, he hasn't replied. Now, also, some of the slate in the patio is also coming undone. I have called many times and left messages on a voicemail that says "all calls will be returned in 24 hours". I called once and the mailbox was full and would not accept any messages. I called a few days later and was able to leave a message, so I know someone is checking the voice mails. My husband has also left multiple messages. Unfortunately, I did not record dates that we have called, but I am sure we have left at least 15 voice mails. I would not be so upset if he had the common courtesy to return my calls. Even if he had personal issues and would not be able to make repairs, it is a good business practice to return calls (even if whoever is checking the messages has to do it for him). At this point, working with Mr. [redacted] has been a complete nightmare. We feel strongly that he should refund at least part, if not all, of the money we paid him. I would prefer to use that money and pay someone else to fix his shoddy work.Desired SettlementWe paid Mr. [redacted] $6750 for a fire pit and two patios that have not been right from the beginning. It has been right at a year, and we have had nothing but trouble with this project. Mr. [redacted] has been unreliable and completely unprofessional. I feel that he should refund all of our money, however, if he were to refund half (for a total of $3375), I would accept that and be happy just to move on and have someone else make the repairs.

Ran off with Deposit - Destroyed yard, gutter pop ups, trashed entire project. Inexperienced workers,[redacted]BEWARE! He has been written up on Revdex.com, [redacted], and should be arrested. He destroys your yard, does not do good work, hires inexperienced workers, leaves them alone, and then runs off with the deposit. [redacted], real name [redacted], is not an honest man and we are not alone. He moves from home to home, renting, and his address business location changes. He does NOT have a registered business license. His vehicles are representative of his work - he literally drives a truck with a rubber glove for a gas cap. [redacted] had thought he was okay, we have since told them no he is not and they should know who they refer. RUN from this man and company!Desired SettlementWe tried to get our deposit back - he spent it on previous bills. Also to repair areas he damaged.

Contracted with Sunny Rose Landscaping to build a patio behind our house. Total cost of the project was $16K. Gave an 8K deposit up front. They said the project would take about five weeks.We are four weeks in and they have been here four days. They will no longer answer phone calls, respond to voice messages or emails. Project is approximately 10% complete. Our yard is completely torn up.Up until a few days ago they were responding to messages but just kept saying they would be there the next day. They never showed up, and now are not responding at all.Product_Or_Service: Patio installationDesired SettlementRefund of deposit less any costs incurred. They had a truckload of fill delivered, some patio stones, and had to rent a bobcat for a day. They have been here for about 30 man hours total.
