I am disappointed in Sunnytech’s responseSadly, Sunnytech thinks I am out to rip-off small businessesI have total empathy for Sunnytech because I run a small business tooManaging expectations is very difficultWe both had different expectationsIn this case, I assert that Sunnytech’s communication lapsed and they didn’t meet my expectationsI politely diffused a tense situation by paying to get my PC backOtherwise Sunnytech would have held it captive while I needed to use it for workEscalating the situation by taking the PC by force would have made the situation much worseThis is unfortunately a communication problemMy message to Sunnytech was to replace the warrantied screen and if it was not a hardware problem, then I would have taken my PC backSunnytech did not communicate well to me that it was a software issue with 100% certaintyI could have wiped my PC and reloaded *** by myself for hoursSunnytech was supposed to diagnose the problem, give me a financial estimate and get my authorization before continuing with any billable work. My saying that my data was backed up was not an authorization to do work Regards,

My name is [redacted], and I am the manager of Sunnytech, This customer called me two days before he took the laptop to us,  i told him the [redacted] repair policy twice, which is [redacted] only cover hardware if the laptop still under warranty, he said he have called [redacted], [redacted] said this is...

hardware problem, so I told him bring the laptop to us we are going to do the warranty job. When he showed up two day later, we tried to power on the laptop, the power liter was on, but no any display, black screen, our tech ask him did he do any [redacted] update ? he said yes, than my tech told him we repaired a lot of those kind laptops because of [redacted] update, that is not hardware problem,we can fix this problem, but we have to reinstall the OS, and also my tech asked him (in front of me and my customer his name is [redacted]) if he backed  up his data? He 100% said: yes, I did. Than we told him, we are going to use our hard drive to boot up the notebook, if it boots up, that means not hardware problem, [redacted] is not going to pay for us, we have to re install [redacted], and have to charge you, he said ( again in front of me and [redacted]) do what you have to do . after my tech  spended 4 hours to loard the [redacted] and drivers and all the updates, we called and left message to  him, told him we fixed the problem, he can come to pick it up, the charge is $99.when he came back, my tech has left, he said:” your tech is [redacted], I do not like him, I never agree to pay the service charge, (also in front of [redacted]), I told to him, if you do not want to pay for that, it’s ok, we are going to reset your laptop to original setting which is not fuctional at all, than he went out the door, than came back said “ok, [redacted], I will pay for that, can you give me some discount?”I said yes, and I took $30 off from the bill. 10 days later, he dispute $69 from credit card. He thought he is smart, he get his laptop fixed for free. but we have to pay our tech, what a smart guy!!!The reason why I spend a lot time on this email, just let you know that  pay attention on this guy, he just want the service but do not want to pay for it. He can did this to us, I think he also can do this to anyone, it will hurt local business![redacted]sunnytech
