Review: I want to report the Sunoco A-Plus at [redacted]. I went to pump $15.00 worth of gas on pump 2 and the nozzle got stuck and would not stop even when I tried to pull lever apart. This caused me to get twice as much gas and spend twice as much money. When I informed the workers they didn't really seem surprised and thought it was funny. Nor seem like they were planning to make it a priority to correct the issue. Since I paid with my credit card they said there was nothing they can do and refused to give me a refund. I was returning a rental car so that was gas wasted that I could not use and money that I could have used for something else. I think they were aware of the broken nozzle and it is a way to force people to get more gas then they want to improve their profits. They need to be investigated. I know now to only use cash. That is if even decide to do business with them againDesired Settlement: I want an apology for faulty equipment and a refund for $15 I was not intentionally authorizing.

Review: I purchased a sunoco giftcard ([redacted]) with 100 dollars balance (96$ left currently). However when using it, it has failed 8 out of 10 times in total. Most of the times, gas station manager just told me that there is not enough balance left (which is not true, if checking online with this number, it shows 96$ left). I've only successfully used it twice, once for an ice cream, once for a 2 dollar fuel (just to check if the card works).

In a summary, it randomly fails, and has bothered me for a long time especially when I in urgent need of gas....

I've communicated with the gas station manager for multiple times but never be able to get this problem solved.Desired Settlement: I simply want my money back. I originally wanted to use a pre-purchased gift card to save some troubles, however it has given me more troubles than I ever expected.

Review: I visited the Sunoco at [redacted] in [redacted], VA [redacted] on Fr[redacted]y, April 12th. I first tried to get gas from pump #4, but the display kept indicating “canceling.” I moved to pump #5. It allowed me to enter my debit and fuel grade preference, but when I put the nozzle in the car, it immediately shut off and said “canceling” again. I did not receive any gasoline.

At that time, I decided to go to a different gas station – a Shell Station on [redacted].

I can send you bank statements, although your office already has them, that document the charge at your station and the one two minutes later at a Shell station. The vehicle I was driving is a [redacted] (incapable of holding $63.70 worth of gas let alone in excess of $100 in the course of just a few minutes.

In the following days, I stopped by the station three times and spoke with three different employees – none of whom were the station manager. The first indicated the amount would be credited to my account within 24 hours. The second one told me to return at 7:00 am to talk with the manager. I went the next day, and the third employee told me the manager was at a meeting in [redacted], and I should call the station before coming in again to see if he was there at that day and time. I thought going to the corporate office for help was a good next step. Unfortunately, while the district manager found my transaction and agreed that there was no way I could fill my tank in the amount of time the pump ran (probably less than 2 seconds), they still would not refund my money and offered no real explanation.

I can share those bank transactions again if necessary, but I really hope Sunoco does the right thing.Desired Settlement: I’m asking to be reimbursed $63.70 for gasoline not received.

Response:

The station manager called the Revdex.com to state they had checked the records and could not identify the problem. [redacted], the manager, found the transaction on one pump showing four minutes, with charge to debit card. Would be glad to look further or talk to you directly, if you wished. Since he was away from the location during the incident, he would be glad to review the bank statement to see if the incident could be clarified.

Review: [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:The business's response is full of inaccuracies and false information.

Review: They are charging me two late fees and interest when I can prove my payment was received by them on the due date. Their email response of payment received is one aspect of my proof.
