Complaint: [redacted] To Sunridge Terrace Management, The email communication has been done from my husband, who is the main person on The lease, along with myselfWe have emailed a detailed letter the the manager at Sunridge Terrace Apartments along with images showing proof of no damages done that the move out letter was claiming, aside From a carpet cleaning and some paint, and a set of door blinds, which we have already said we would be happy To pay forWe would like to settle this matter before payment is receivedWe are requesting a letter acknowledging That the other claims are against us, and a new move out amount be adjusted and reflect just the above items I mentioned, That we would agree to pay forWe left the apartment in a clean state and nothing was in disrepair beyond what I have mentioned, which does not equal over $2,000!! Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: we have reached out to the management directly by email with no response The move out charges were outrageous and not anything we should be held liable for excluding a carpet shampooing and a little Touch up paintThey are trying to charge us over $2,000!! For repairs that never needed to happen! We have images of the apartment Upon move out documenting that the apartment was left in the same fashion we moved in with, excluding carpet shampooing and touch up paints as the apartment requested we not do! We are willing to pay for carpet shampooing and touch up paints, but should not be responsible for any other amount that we did not doSincerely, [redacted]

We cannot find any emails from *** ***Per our first letter, we are more than happy to discuss their move out charges and come to some type of agreement that will work for both parties

Customer's Statement of the Problem:
This place was SO DISAPPOINTING!! Not only was the rent super high, but for a "luxury apartment home" this place had VERY POOR lighting, horrible counter tops that would bubble up, and flooring was very basic and mostly all CHEAP carpets. The ceiling was paper...

thin so we would always hear our neighbors! We made several complaints which seemed to do nothing at all. They are OVERLY STRICT on parking rules to the point where I didn't even feel I could have guests and they were also strict on anything we put on our patio. The final straw was when we went to move out....we are very clean people, and we left the place the same condition we moved in. They are now trying to charge us over $2,000 (not even exaggerating) in damages that we did not do! Luckily my husband took tons of pictures the day of move out, showing how clean we left it and that there was absolutely no damage caused by us! It seemed that they were trying to charge us for every maintenance request that we had ever made, which was not our fault that things were cheap and falling apart on us! Would NEVER RECOMMEND this place, pick anywhere else, don't let the pretty building fool you!!
I wish the residents would have come to us directly as we take resident complaints very seriously. We are more than happy to work with them to discuss their move out charges and come to some type of agreement that will work for both parties.
