Are goal is to try our best to make every customer happy. It is unfortunate that Mr*** has had the experience that he has. Although Sunrise Auto disputes the timeline and the claims that Mr*** has made mentioned we are focused on trying to do the right thing. Ownership has agreed to go ahead and pay Mr*** the $that he was asking for to resolve this matter, the only requirement for Mr*** is that he brings a receipt for the catalytic converters into the dealership that he has installed onto the truck and that he recounts his current and any future complaints towards Sunrise Auto sales. Mr.*** can reach out to our Recon manager Spencer at the dealership to organize payment. We thank Mr*** for his business.-Sunrise Auto Sales

I am rejecting this response because: I had made plans to talk with Spencer from sunrise auto on monday may 8th so we could work this outI went in on may 6th to obtain a trip permit for the truck now that I got it to pass deqI was asked if I had time to talk while there and said that I did not and that I would be in on Monday the 8thThe sales manager told me we had to come tp an agreement while I was there on SaturdayI told him I would think about his offer and answer on monday the 8th when I met with SpencerHe rudely said he needed an answer nowSo I declinedI was not given any kind of respect or remorse for the dealerships actions, was called a liarI started to explain all that waa wrong with the truck and was repeatedly cut off and told I bought as isWhen I was being sold the truck I was assured over and over how mechanically sound it wasAgain, no catalytic converters, wrong hoses, air intake not attached to engine, no oil, the wheel drive doesnt workI have been told by all ive spoken to at the dealership that they drove it them selves and nothing was wrongI was told everything worksThis complaint is because of the poor sales tactics of this dealershipIf the folks that work there all checked the truck out personally as implied then they knew these problems were presentI may have been foolish enough to trust them and buy the truck but thats doesn't mean ill let them get away with selling a lemonThere are many complaints with the state attorney and soon will be one moreSomething must be done to stop dealerships like sunrise auto from endangering people and families with misrepresentation of the automobiles they sellHad they been honest about the trucks issues and showed me another this situation wouldn't existBecause I was put on the spot and told to decide now or never to resolve this I said no to the offer of 500$I bought the truck because I was stupid enough to trust sunrise auto at thier wordA choice that is still costing me money, stress, and loss of work

Mr*** came into our dealership looking to buy a truck on 4/1/2017. He liked a Dodge Ram and preceded to take it out for a test drive and came back and was completely satisfied with the condition and drivability of the truck. On a truck that is years old it is
expected that the truck will have leaks and seeps and that any other wear and tear item on the truck may need to be changed or replaced and the vehicle is being sold in AS- IS condition. The customer called us 2-hours after he bought the truck expressing his concern that truck had ignited. The dealership acted in a timely manner in having our Service manager call the customer back and instructed the customer to have the vehicle towed into the dealership so we could diagnose the issue but there was nothing else that we could do being it was late afternoon on a Saturday. After more conversation with the customer is was determined that a transmission hose came un-clamped causing transmission fluid to leak onto the hot engine. We instructed the customer to re-clamp the transmission hose and see if that fixed the issue. We never herd from the customer again until receiving this complaint more than days after he purchased the vehicle. We tried reaching out to the customer the next day 5/4/after receiving his complaint and left him a message, we got no response so we called again on 5/5/and the customer called us back and spoke with my Service Manager. We offered the customer to put catalytic converters on the truck but apparently the customer already made plans to have it done himself before the dealership was notified that the truck needed catalytic converters. The dealership has offered to reimburse Mr*** the amount it would have cost us to install catalytic converters through our own shop since this is our business practice however we have not resolved the issue with him because obviously our amount is quite a bit less than what he paid at a retail muffler shop. Had we know there was an issue with the catalytic converters before days after the sale and before the customer took upon his own free will to fix it, we would have been more than happy to have the customer bring the truck in so we could fix it in our shop. We hope we can resolve this issue with the customer that makes sense as Customer satisfaction is very important to Sunrise Auto sales
