This is the worst cargo express to the Philippines. They picked up my box to manila April 2022, and at this time it has not arrived. There is no rate for zero,,they dont deserve 1 star, this is rotten not express. Please dont be decieve by these people..

Review: On December 12, 2012, I called the services of sunrise express cargo and travel in national city to send a box of full of clothes, new shoes, groceries, a few electronic devices (ipad 2/bose portable speakers) and other personal stuff to my children in the philippines. As of this writing, april 12, 2013, my children in the philippines have not received the package. We talked to one of their representatives (ayrex?) numerous times and kept telling us the same story ---that the package arrived in the philippines and that they were catching up on the deliveries or they cannot contact thier LA representative "who is in charge of their deliveries in some regions in the philippines". She said those boxes are insured, but did not offer to replace them or to own that they lost it or somehow admit that they were at fault. The value of the contents amounts to at least $ 900, but the stress and frustration that this incident brought to my life was inconceivable. I would like for them to pay for the amount of the contents of the box.Desired Settlement: I would like them to pay for the amount of the contents of the box, which is $900

Review: This is [redacted], This complaint is for Sunrise Express Cargo And Travel, located in 1720 East 8th St. National City, California 91950, U.S.A. My mother [redacted] sent 2 Balikbayan Boxes going to [redacted], Agusan del Norte,Philippines, for her sister [redacted]. The boxes were sent October 8,2012. After 2 months I followed up they told me its the Christmas rush that caused the delay. After 3 months I tried to set up a meeting with the owner [redacted] but it's hard to get a hold of her. She just texted me one time, that was January 18,2013 telling me that she will call me the following week which never happened. Now, her son [redacted] is the one that communicates with me somehow. On his text dated March 13,2013 he said that our boxes got mixed into a wrong pile for its destination and that it left Manila,Philippines already. On his March 27,2013 text he said our boxes are getting ready for shipping, when I thought it left Manila already, apparently its still in the warehouse. He said he's having problem with the forwarding company and they are holding our boxes. Did not hear from him after that, doesnt answer my calls. I stop going to Sunrise Cargo office anymore because the staff could not help me. Its been more than 6 months now and the boxes are still not received by the recipient. They don't want to give me the forwarder's name in Manila but they gave me the name of the contact person which out of desperation I called and e-mailed too. Sunrise Cargo's office number is ###-###-####.Desired Settlement: If they can't deliver the boxes I would like to claim the insurance for the 2 boxes $500.00 total.
