I am rejecting this response because:This dental practice did not want to pull the tooth when they saw an opportunity to upsell a root canal and crown (at more than 5 times the price). The tooth had been infected and I was already on antibiotics prior to my visit. There was a lot of pressure to save the tooth though I had already decided to have it extracted. [redacted] used intimidation and guilt to upsell me. Then, since they at least wanted some money out of me, he said I should at least have the tooth drilled into, and more antibiotic placed into it. That cost $300.00, which was what an extraction would have cost. [redacted] said that if we were to go to another dentist (which I did), that the other dentist would discount the treatment by that cost, as it was something they would not have to do at that point. Of course, [redacted] is in no position to say what another dentist will or will not do. Very hard sell that seemed more like a car dealership than a dental office. Additionally, my wife paid for xrays and a cleaning, but was not given the xrays (though they were included in the cost) because she was unlikely to go forward with their treatment plan. All in all, a very deceptive dental practice. I actually was NOT happy when I left, and I'm not sure why [redacted] feels qualified to say I was happy. [redacted] did not return my calls to try to resolve this situation. Contacting the Revdex.com was my only option, and I am still seeking resolution.
