Review: I ordered a 0.50 ct G-VS1 diamond, from Sunrise Jewelers. On 1/**/15 and left a deposit of $300.00. The wrong stone was ordered and they refuse to give me my deposit back. On 1/**/15 a sales associate called me, stating that he was able to get me a "better stone" "better quality" for $300.00 more. I advised him that I did not want it and that if he could not get me the 0.50 ct G-VS1 diamond that I originally ordered, to please let me know. On 1/**/15 the same sale associate left me a voice mail. Stating that my stone was ordered but it would not be here 1/**/15 like he said it would. I decided to go to Sunrise Jewelers that same day, I received his voice mail and discuss it in person. When I entered the store, the sale associate told me I ordered your stone but it's not a G-VS1, it is a better stone. The stone he had ordered was was a E-VS1. The same stone I had previously told him I did not want, regardless of it's quality. I asked him for my deposit back, he said he was not able to, unless his boss permitted. When I asked to speak to his boss, he said he was not available. So he would call him. Who ever is the store owner allegedly told him not to give me my refund back. However, this sale associate wrote on my receipt "deposit refunded upon request. I am disappointed in the way I have been misled and treated. This is not the way to treat a customer.Desired Settlement: I would like my deposit to be refunded. The amount of my deposit is $300.00.
