Contact Us (sent Jan 21, 2016 - 11:56 pm) Your Name mary Email Address [redacted]@yahoo.com Comments or Questions I think its disrespectful that where the Veterans and the poor...

are buried..you dont plow..you need to advertise this before people chose your cemetery for their loved ones...free for Vets..but you need to advertise the fact..but dont expect to be able to visit their graves during most the year....Its a shame...friends of ours almost got stuck in that one area a couple of wks ago...! Entered at www.sunrisefuneralhomeandcemetery.com

[redacted],
I am sorry your friends could not drive to see there loved ones.
We get very few visitors in the winter so we don't plow the roads unless we need to get into a certain area to do a burial.
The veterans section when it is plowed usually drifts back over due to the lay of the land.
How ever if someone lets us know ahead of time that they want to get into an area we are glad to open the road so they can get close.
Plowing roads which no one uses only drive the frost deeper and damages the roads in the long run.
Thank you for your concern.

Jan 23 2:08 I got a message given to my answering service saying they reported me to the attorney general
Jan 23 around 3:00 I called never mention the attorney general she did not leave her name but I had her number. I advised again about the plowing of the roads and offered to plow but they must come that day due to drifting on the hill.
Jan 23 I got a post to my face book page 8:46 pm
I responded Jan 23 10:49 I can mail you copies of all of these interactions
Jan 25 I got Revdex.com letter in the mail
I am now responding sorry for the delay but have had multiple funerals going on
It seems she or they are trying to imply that we discriminate against the vets and the poor. So far from the truth it is sad. This family went to another funeral home and did their service. We only did cemetery stuff for them. We have county burials in all our sections of the cemetery not just that section. And we honor Veterans by giving them a free grave a $1200 value from my family to theirs to thank them for protecting my family, my friends and our great country. We accept county burials and we receive a margin of our normal rate we do this as a service to our community we do not have to we choose to.
This is a family owned business and I treat every family like it was my own. I have answered promptly to their concerns, offered solutions and all I get are more complaints. I think everyone grieves differently and I think they will come to the realization that they are sending their pain in my direction and is unwarranted. I hope they come to realize what I am do I do for my families as a service and we do truly try to our best.
In closing can I send copies of all of our correspondence? So you have copies of my interactions on file.
Thank you

Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 10, 2016/02/06) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
where is the response from sunrise..I cant find it in this letter from you?? and if it has to do with if we would like to come visit our loved one we have to make an appt and they will have a caravan out there with plowing in front of us..oh my God NO!! This is one of the stories this owner mgn or whom ever he is said..I just went to the other cemeteries in Duluth and they are all plowed right to the tops..and sanded and salted..no this is not satisfactory if this is the response..we dont want a circus with us to visit our loved one..this cemetery has the obligation to upkeep the cemetery during all seasons..and the area is for the free Vets..or government paid vets and the poor that the county had to help pay..Well we aren't poor but my dear husband took his life a wk before this past Christmas and so our insurance will not pay for suicide..So the country had to help us because my husband was on disability and we just didn't have the money to pay 9 thousand out of our pockets..we are heart broken..we have been up there to try to see where my husband is laid to rest the only road that has 3 ft of snow on it is the one where he is buried along with the poor and the poor Vets..this is not right..
