The office is extremely unorganized and extremely unprofessional.

1.) I was having a complication after surgery and I called to make an appointment with my primary care physician. I was advised that the doctor didn't have any appointments for the next couple of weeks. I was then advised that if I come in between certain hours I would be seen and it would not be an urgent care visit. I requested that she confirm that it wasn't an urgent care visit and she said that it wasn't. I walk it, they tell me it's urgent care. I told them that I was advised over the phone that it wouldn't be urgent care and they didn't care. They made me pay the urgent care price despite them advising me to the contrary.

2.) I had labs done and it took them 5 phone calls, me making them copy the results for me to pick them up, me calling them again requesting that the physician call me because I could see the results were abnormal, and 3 weeks from the time of my labs, for them to call me with the results. They also tried to claim that the results "weren't urgent" and therefore they pushed my labs to the back of the pile, even though as I previously mentioned they were abnormal.

3.) My university was requesting verification of my MMR vaccine. I couldn't find my childhood records so I called to make an appointment. I was advised that for vaccines I didn't need to make an appointment. I walked in between the hours that I was advised to come in. I waited an hour for them to finally tell me that I would have to pay full price because it was considered an urgent care visit and my insurance doesn't cover that. I once again told them that I was advised to walk in and again they didn't care and insisted that I pay the full price of the vaccine.

The behavior of the office staff is completely unacceptable. They claim the office is busy, however I don't care how busy your office is. It shouldn't take more that a week to call someone with their labs. Especially when the physician specifically told me she would call me back a week after I take my labs. Whomever is answering the phone is giving out bogus information that contradicts with the actually practices in the office.

I would not recommend this office to anyone. The doctor's all seem to be very nice, but the way they allow their office to run is unacceptable.
