Sunrise Spas

I need a replacement Weir door! This simple part broke and I can not get a replacement part at a reasonable price from sunrise. Online they sell them for $18.00 however no one has any left and they are discontinued apparently. Which seems to be the largest issue however I purchased this tub 3 yrs ago so sunrise should have parts or come up with parts for it.
I called discount spa in Kitchener were I bought the spa in November 2017. They had trouble finding the part so advised to call sunrise direct so I did 3 times (no call back) and I also called the repairman discount recommended but he said he could not get the part is was discontinued. After multiple calls all around and no luck finding it online I went into discount spas, they magically said they could get the part it was $60.00, which I thought was high price but I needed it so ordered it. I waited 4 weeks...it came in it was the entire front grate with the weir door, however it was still the incorrect part and Not the part on the screen when I ordered it. Asked for the manager "***" at discount. She advised the part did not exist on its own. She also advised I could replace the "entire" filtration unit for $255 ($300 ish with tax).
I advised that was ridiculous and suggested she work it out with sunrise that sunrise builds the spas, therefore should perhaps step up and take a full unit apart and sell me just the $18.00 door I require or perhaps they should under warranty replace the entire filtration unit if they cant supply such a basic part. I asked her to work it out and get back to me.
The solution *** from sunrise came up with is a replacement weir door for $166.00 hst extra
Absolutely Unacceptable!! I suspect the entire filtration unit cost to sunrise is $166.00 or less so I would be paying for the entire unit to have them remove the tiny door to ship to me.
Still waiting on a solution that is more comparable in price with what the range is online or perhaps it should be free at this point. This is ridiculous , it has been over 3 months now, over 7 phone calls, 3 store visits and major frustration due to the fact the tub is 3 years old and the sunrise who builds the tubs can not source and supply parts.
