Had left a deposit for a vehicle at Sunrise Volkswagen, but had received a better deal with another Volkswagen dealer so went back to Sunrise Volkswagen to obtain our refund to our credit card We appeared at Sunrise Volkswagen and were told we needed the yellow carbon copy of the receipt we had received when leaving the deposit in order to receive our deposit back Please note they they hold the actual original receipt in their possession - you are only given a yellow carbon copy We did not have the yellow paper on us and we were provided an email address from their salesperson and told to take a picture of the receipt and email same to the email address provided and they would then process the refund We did just that and received a phone call a few days after from one of the salesman who stated he had a printout of the email of the receipt but was unable to process the refund back to the card as he needed the actual yellow carbon copy receipt! He could clearly see the information as he called me by my last name and was able to see the phone number as he called me I asked to speak with a manager and they transferred me to a manager named "Bob" who stated it is company policy to only process a refund with the yellow receipt present in their hand I explained that when we had appeared in the showroom a few days prior we were provided with the email address with which to send the receipt for the refund to be processed They refuse to credit my credit card back without the yellow carbon copy piece of paper - when they hold the actual original I contacted the Corporate Office of Volkswagen and they have stated they do not have such a policy about refunds and the carbon copy being present - a Regional Manager of Volkswagen is getting in touch with Sunrise Volkswagen - I am very happy we decided to purchase our Volkeswagen elsewhere

Had left a deposit for a vehicle at Sunrise Volkswagen, but had received a better deal with another Volkswagen dealer so went back to Sunrise Volkswagen to obtain our refund to our credit card. We appeared at Sunrise Volkswagen and were told we needed the yellow carbon copy of the receipt we had received when leaving the deposit in order to receive our deposit back. Please note they they hold the actual original receipt in their possession - you are only given a yellow carbon copy. We did not have the yellow paper on us and we were provided an email address from their salesperson and told to take a picture of the receipt and email same to the email address provided and they would then process the refund. We did just that and received a phone call a few days after from one of the salesman who stated he had a printout of the email of the receipt but was unable to process the refund back to the card as he needed the actual yellow carbon copy receipt! He could clearly see the information as he called me by my last name and was able to see the phone number as he called me. I asked to speak with a manager and they transferred me to a manager named "Bob" who stated it is company policy to only process a refund with the yellow receipt present in their hand. I explained that when we had appeared in the showroom a few days prior we were provided with the email address with which to send the receipt for the refund to be processed. They refuse to credit my credit card back without the yellow carbon copy piece of paper - when they hold the actual original. I contacted the Corporate Office of Volkswagen and they have stated they do not have such a policy about refunds and the carbon copy being present - a Regional Manager of Volkswagen is getting in touch with Sunrise Volkswagen - I am very happy we decided to purchase our Volkeswagen elsewhere.

Review: MY vehicle was taken sunrise volkswagen for my purchase after a 3 years lease by myself, they said that my vehicle needed a certifed preowned service that included a water pump recall repair and I agreed to the service, after vehicle was repaired and purhaced and driven off the lot , the check engine light came on , immediately took vehicle back to the shop , the repair diagonis have went from the turbo, the valves , to the computer , to the wiring , and a month later they ask was the car in a collision, yes it was a minor right front collision , and I called [redacted] and they sent a represenetive to there shop for evaulation and collision repair had nothing to do with the problem the car is having now after there service , now sunrise volkswagen wants to charge me with repairs to the car and the car is still not repaired the check engine light still comes on a month and half later and the is still in there service center . my car drove perfectly before I brought it to sunrise volkswagen this service , Desired Settlement: I would like to keep repaired car that was still under warranty at time of service and still has a extended warranty

Review: We agreed on 285 a month with $1000 down with the salesman Harez. I was all set to pick up the car. Upon arrival, we looked at the car it was great everything was going. I had the key and everything. I went into the "finance office" only to have him start spewing his **. Saying that I didn't qualify for that but for an extra 30 - 40 dollars a month we can make it work. I told them to refund my money I'm leaving. This was a bait and switch, and wasted an entire day off, and cost me money in cabs to return home.Desired Settlement: Refund and cost of my cab ride $31.79

Review: My new vehicle was hit while parked and written off as 'totaled' by the insurance company (August 2014). I requested refund of warranty as soon as I realised (from ** of [redacted]) that the warranty is held by the dealer, not not by the auto company.

Had to wait two weeks for Sunrise VW to start processing the request as I was out of town and the finance officer refused to begin without me signing the form in his presence.

It is now 10 weeks since that paperwork was signed, and I am still waiting for my refund despite several requests. I am also unable to obtain any details of the transaction from either the finance manager or the sales manager.Desired Settlement: Full refund of amount paid for warrant given that the vehicle was less than 1 month old when the dealership was notified.

Review: Purchased a pre-owned certified vehicle. Had the car for a week and the engine seized. They are trying to blame me for lack of oil in engine and won't honor warranty. They suggested I go through my insurance and provided me an inflated invoice. They then offered to pay half and kept uping my half first $3k then $5k. Very very shady group of characters.Desired Settlement: Would like the dealer to honor the warranty and repair my new car.

Review: On December *, 2014 I took my car to the Volkswagen dealer on [redacted]. I spoke with the [redacted], I explained to [redacted] that there is a knocking noise when the car reached 20-30 mph on acceleration. I also explained all the dash board lights come n after driving the car. The check engine light is also on all the time but it's clearly indicated on the work order the dash board lights (Park, Reverse, Neutral and Drive) would light up after driving the car and the knocking noise was the problem. I also requeested a oil change. I received a call from [redacted] later on that afternoon and he told me that they found the problem and that would take care of the knocking noise and the dashboard lights. He told me it would coast $2236.84 with the oil change. I picked up the car December [redacted] and paid. [redacted] assured me everything is fixed. I live in Valley Stream about 1 mile away from the dealer. By the time I pulled into my driveway about 7 - 10 minutes after leaving the dealership the dashboard lights were on. I didn't even get out of my car yet and I called [redacted]. He said drive the car a little and it should reset. I drove the car around the block a few times and now I still hear and feel the knocking and the dashboard lights are on. I drive it back to the dealer within the same hour and [redacted] told me he could give me another appointment December [redacted].He didn't even come out and look at it and I just paid $2236.84 1/2 hour before. I bring the car back to Volkwagen with [redacted] the same [redacted] December **, 2014. He called me that afternoon and told me that he has bad news. He told me it's the transmission and would be an additional $4800 maybe more with labor. I tld him the car was mis diagnosed. If I needed a transmission he should have told me that from the beginning before charging me the $2236.84. So I have the car now and it still makes the knocking noise and the dashboard lights are on.Desired Settlement: Refund. The car was never fixed.I still have the car now.It still has the same knocking and the dashboard lights are on. He charged my credit card. Now Their saying I need a transmission.I wouldn't of spent $2236.84 if nothing was going to be fixed (same lights are on and knocking).I have the invoices and the car to prove this. Please help!I'm disputing $2147.84....The $89.00 was for the oil change. I called the [redacted] and he told me he'll give me a dis on the transmission $3700 bec of prb

Review: Sold me certified preowned Eos (2012) in May 2014, Heated seats didn't work, brought back 2 days later, still didn't fix it. Called for repair, they said would not give me courtesy vehicle. Left it alone as was summer until 11/*/14 brought in for repair charged me and stated repaired. Heated seats still don't work. a) certified preowned are meant to have 120 point check b) They charged (bought extended warranty, charged VW and me a deductible) they didn't even bother checking they work. (FYI: warranty was not up had 35100 miles so should have not been charged deductible in first place - don't care about that, I care heated seats don't work) When call up I am told no courtesy vehicle is available and will have to pay again, at wits end.Desired Settlement: Since they are unable to fix heated seats and was broken since bought in May2014 as certified pre-owned. I want credit for charges and also they pay for me to take car to outside place to fix. They sold e a lemon, there were also other issues (minor, fixed locally).

Review: on October **, 2015 I [redacted] arrived at sunrise Volkswagen to pick up my 2013 Volkswagen jetta that was being worked on for it scheduled maintenance. sales man Javon W[redacted] called me into his office to try and sell me on a new lease and show me some deals he had to offer. I sat and spoke with him for a few hours and he presented some deals that were quite appealing. unfortunately he was using some deceptive business practice by not explain the entirety of the deal to me. I was currently in a lease for a 2013 VW jetta. the lease was a 3 1/2 year contract (42 months) and 12,000 miles a year which is 42,000 miles for the life of the lease. this sales man was very deceptive when he explained to me that he would buy out the last few month of my lease and I would only have to worry about the overage miles that was over 42,000 miles. at the time of the initial sales contract my car had approximately 43,000 miles on it. he explain very clearly to me that I was ONLY over by 1,000 miles. each mile costing .20 cents was approximately 200$ and that he would cover it. I knew that I would have the 2013 car for a few more days before I went to pick up the new one so I would cover the few hundred more miles I put on the car after that. he NEVER explain to me that because I was turning in the car early that the mileage would be prorated to 36,000. I received a invoice from Volkswagen completely going against the promises I was given. I have contacted Volkswagen of sunrise, Volkswagen group of america, and Volkswagen customer care and they have been giving me a hard time even getting in touch with the right people. no one wants to help me and no one wants to take responsibility for their actions. I have been been more than a great customer with Volkswagen. I've been with Volkswagen credit for over 3 years and never had a late payment.Desired Settlement: I would like for Volkswagen to take care of the overage mileage charge that I was completely lied to about. I was not sold the new lease on the understanding that my mileage on my 2013 jetta would be prorated to 36,000. I was promised that I would only have to take care of the miles over 42,000. simply because my lease was a 42 month 42,000 miles contract
