Sunrize Wholesale Reviews (2)

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Regards,[redacted] First off I would like to disagree with ken I did tell him he could bring my truck back, but I wasn't about to pay twice for shipping!! also if the coolant was flushed then his mechanic needs glasses as the radiator was so bad that after several attempts at flushing the coolant system I had to replace the radiator, radiator cap and  thermostat! So no the dealership never flushed the system! There was absolutely no brake fluid in the master cylinder which almost caused me to not stop! So no it was never safety checked by his so called mechanic! And yes I had purchased a vehicle prior to this one and was happy with that deal! But this deal I was mis led just as it was supposedly checked over prior to my receiving it! At the meeting spot yes I did see it but wasn't able to check it over throughly as I was working and didn't have much time to check over what was told to me was done to the truck I purchased! And yes the head light switch isn't working properly, again another safety issue! I understand this is a used truck but when you sell a truck it should be at least safe! And if you say you did something to it it should be done( coolant system)

I received a letter in the mail today from your company pertaining to a resent sale of a vehicle. I am responding to the complaint and will explain several things that I do not believe to be true along with why I find them false accusations.
First off my first interaction with [redacted] was several...

weeks before he made the purchase of the 1991 truck. We were not able to make a deal because we were not willing to take his offer... I told him we appreciated the opportunity to do business again with him but we couldn't accept his offer. This is his 2nd purchase from us, if we treated him poorly or had done shady business practices... as he is insinuating, why would he return to do business with us again? [redacted] called back a few weeks later stating he really wanted this truck and wanted to come to an agreement because this was exactly what he was looking for. I spoke with the owner of the dealership and he agreed he would trade Mr. [redacted] for a difference of $1500.00 and would include the delivery of the truck as well. [redacted] stated how thankful he was and how he couldn't wait to get the new truck. We agreed to a delivery date and approximate time.
Now to point out things which I find hard to believe... I will start off by saying this truck was not trailered to the customer, our driver drove this truck from Nampa Idaho to Butte Montana. Before the vehicle left our dealership the mechanic performed a safety inspection. I have receipts from the mechanic showing the work he performed. I mentioned those to [redacted] before the vehicle even left to make sure he knew again we were doing everything we could to make sure he received a good quality vehicle. A cooling system flush was one of those safety things that were performed, a check of all working lights was performed not only by the mechanic but also by the delivery driver who is a CDL licensed driver. Before the vehicle ever left our parking lot these things were checked and all were in proper working order.
My bigger question is how can a mechanic, a CDL licensed driver who are not linked or working directly for our dealership both state there were no problems with this vehicle and also mention how nice the vehicle was for the age of it? I also question the validity of this complaint because how can a licensed professional who's sole profession is driving vehicles make it all the way from Nampa Idaho to Butte Montana and never notice a single issue with the brakes?
Now upon receiving the truck, Mr. [redacted] had every opportunity to look the truck over and not make the deal... the truck was hand delivered not just dropped off. If our driver had time to look over Mr. [redacted] truck and make a call to us during the transaction so how did he not have thorough enough time to do his inspection and make sure he was happy. Mr. [redacted] also works in the car industry for a dealership and cannot say he did not know the things to look for on vehicles or things to check for a good inspection. We did not misrepresent this vehicle in any way and if this vehicle was not a good sound vehicle we would not have put someone in it and have them drive almost 500 miles.
Now when [redacted] called it was almost a week after he had already had the vehicle... yes he did state that there were a few things that he had to repair and they totaled up to roughly $300. I asked him what those repairs were and he mention a couple of things such as the shorted wires in the taillights, he mentioned he was going to replace a switch that was not always working and mentioned he was going to replace the broken hinge on the glove box. He asked me if we were willing to pay for his repairs... I sat down and spoke with the owner of the dealership and he stated that he would gladly accept paying for half of the repairs needed on [redacted] truck if he was willing to cover the repair costs that we were spending on his truck. [redacted] stated he didn't know of anything wrong with his truck when he made the trade. I explained to him that we didn't either but we were not going to ask him to fix them or cover any of the costs because it was a used vehicle and we expected some repairs. I asked him if he was willing to do that and he stated no he was not willing to, we never told him that he was "on his own". I also gave him another option... I told him that if he was that unsatisfied with the vehicle that I didn't mind sending his truck back and picking our truck up if he was willing to pay the truck drivers cost. [redacted] refused to do that as well and said he wasn't that unhappy with the truck... his exact words were "I just thought the truck was a little cleaner that it is". I told him I apologize and I never intended to represent or mislead him and his exact words again were "I don't think you mislead me in any way, you have been excellent to work with, I just thought it was a little bit cleaner than it is".
So with all that being said, how can [redacted] say we sold him a vehicle and mislead him in any way? He was given several options and we were even willing to give him his truck back and take our truck back but he refused any of the options we were willing to offer him. Mr. [redacted] signed an "AS-IS" meaning the vehicle is sold as it sits and no warranties are offered. [redacted] also signed a "DUE-BILL", which states there is nothing due or promised on the vehicle, he had ample time to look the truck over and refuse to make the deal and lastly he was given several options that he did not want to do. We were very fair in the transaction and disagree with this complaint. We are sorry Mr. [redacted] feels the way he does but we gave him every opportunity and were willing to work with him, he is the one that chose not to accept any of our offers... that is on him, not us.
Ken H[redacted]
