Sunset Hills Country Club

Review: I had a wedding scheduled for September 6, 2015 at Sunset Hills. We met many times with the coordinator and had contact via email in months leading up to the event. When we originally signed our contract she had shown me an area for my bridal party to get ready in complete with a gym and separate room conjoined to the locker area that had a couch, tv and tables for my party. I was told across the pool was an exact replica of my room for my groomsmen. We were sold based on the size of the room and the fact it had a place for the men. Our rehearsal was Friday September 4, 2015 and it took place in the parking lot, not on the greens where we were to get married. My bridal party asked to see the room they would be going to and were told I had already seen it and were pointed in the direction it was but no one was let in. The morning of the wedding I spoke to the wedding coordinator and confirmed what time we'd arrive and that two of my groomsmen were to be ushers to be sure people were seated correctly. When we arrived at the country club we were given a code to get into the women's locker room and when we entered there were two men and a ton of machines, horrible toxic smells and fresh paint. The room I was supposed to be in was ripped out and the signs said "Pardon our mess as we are redoing your gym and will be open again September 15th" not once was I told there was construction being done and to top it off the workers told us not to be in there it was toxic and we needed masks, to take my kids and try to find somewhere else to get ready. My mom started throwing up and my 10 year old has had headaches since that day. We were moved into my coordinators office to get ready, my groomsmen entered their room and it was a bar with guests coming in and out, they were forced to go back home to my house to get ready. My dress was draped over a chair, my wedding pictures are in an office with member info, fax machines, stains on the carpet and no air conditioning.Desired Settlement: I feel I should be refunded, I wasn't able to add the rest, they threw away my entire wedding cake, used my photo booth for pictures during my wedding of the staff, my photographer showed up 3 hours early to get pics of me getting ready and all the pictures are in the office and my dress was wrinkled from being draped over the chair. The GM said my story doesn't match her employees and said there's nothing they can do. I have picture proof of everything.
