I am rejecting this response because: Firstly, these folks don't even know who their customer is... They keep calling us the "***s"... not realizing that this name belongs to the Revdex.com representative that sent this complaint to them. Secondly, yes... the told us about the day minimum reservation, but they rejected that... so it does not apply. they did not tell us about the day cancellation, which also did not applysince the reservation was originally made after the day period.this business also said that they do not tell folks about the cancellation policy because THEY DO NOT TAKE THE TIME TO TELL PEOPLE THIS BEAUSE IT TAKES TOO MUCH TIME OM THEIR PART to tell everyone.... I reminded them that Hotels always tell you about the cancellation policy on every call , which is usually PM on the day of arrival. Normally, rebuttal RV parks require a hour notice of cancellation.Also, this business did not inform us of an opportunity to re-book the 1-day stay if we could come within the next weeks. I guess this is because of their exception to the day minim stay, which they had approved a 1-day stay.PARK RULES WERE NOT FOLLOWED FROM THE BEGINNING, OTHERWISE THEY WOULD NOT HAVE TAKEN A 1-DAY RESERVATION, NOR WOULD THEY HAVE TAKEN A RESERVATION WITHIN THE 14-DAY CANCELLATION POLICY. I am rejecting this response because:   this business is a hoax.   Very poor customer service.  They admitted that they do not tell folks of their requirements because it takes them too long to inform people.   They did not accept the reservation outside their 14 day policy,   They did not do anyone a favor by allowing a 1 day reservation.   It was their own way to steal money from hardworking folks.  We request the information on the owners if this park.  This matter needs to be elevated to next level.   Will also notify the attorney generals office.  We have done what we can do at this level.   Mediation also requested.

The customer was told of the cancellation policy.  The customer was sent a confirmation on the same day the reservation was made.  The exception to the 2 night minimum was given as a favor to the customer.  We could have easily turned down the customer, but chose to try and help the customer with his situation.  The customer was also told their credit card would be charged for their 1 night stay.  The campground followed the rules as set forth by the campground, the customer was informed of the rules and was sent a confirmation that spells out these rules.  Sunset Point is not a hotel.  It is a Resort for RV's.    A refund will not be issued.?

Mr. [redacted] made the reservation.  He was indeed told we had a 2 day minimum here at Sunset Point.   As Mr. [redacted] indicated he could not stay two nights we also did make an exception and allow a one night stay.  Mr. [redacted] was told his...

reservation would require a deposit of the one night stay.  He indicated he was a Good Sam Member so we also gave him a 10% discount.  According to the clerk whom took his reservation he was told of the 14 day cancellation policy.  In addition, the [redacted]’s were sent a confirmation via e-mail that also spells out the cancellation policy in detail.  He received this confirmation the same day he made his one night reservation.   When Mr. [redacted] called to cancel he was again told of the cancellation policy.  He was also told he could move his reservation to another date, as long as the date of arrival was within the two weeks of his original reservation.  Several hours later Mrs. [redacted] called and was very unpleasant.  In trying to explain to her our policy she was just not going to let us speak and insisted on a full refund, even after she was given an exception to the Park rules and also given an additional 10% discount, and given the opportunity to move their reservation.   All Park rules were followed and the guest was told verbally and by e-mail of these rules.  The [redacted]’s were indeed told it was their right to file a complaint, but that the Park rules would be followed.  And, in my opinion, not in a rude manner at all.   Sunset Point Management
