Limited 5-Year Warranty against defects in materials and workmanship on a
pro-rated basisThis warranty does not cover labor associated with installation,
maintenance, or repair of any SunSetter product

We are sorry to hear of the
difficulties Ms. [redacted] is experiencing with her awning.  We are not able to locate a customer account using
her name, address, phone or email address. 
Based on the complaint filed it appears Ms. [redacted] purchased her awning
from someone...

other than SunSetter Products because we do not install awnings.  We sell factory direct to the public for
do-it-yourself installation and we also sell to independent businesses that purchase
awnings from us for resale.  We refer
Ms. [redacted] to her place of purchase for questions or assistance about the installation.   If Ms.
[redacted] does have a SunSetter Awning we as the manufacturer hold the warranty on
the awning.  The warranty does not
include installation.   If Ms. [redacted] doesn’t remember where or whom she
purchased her awning from we’d be happy to direct her but we would need more
information.  Was the awning purchased using
another name, address and phone number?   Perhaps the address of the cottage referred to
in her complaint.  If we can be of assistance
please let us know.

[redacted] purchased his SunSetter Awning from an independent business, [redacted], not from SunSetter Awnings. We have spoken to [redacted] regarding his interactions with his place of purchase and how to make adjustment to his awning, though [redacted] has never ordered or attempted to...

order replacement parts directly from SunSetter Products.  It should be notes that his place of purchase ordered parts for his SunSetter on 9/17 which have since shipped. As the manufacturer of [redacted]’s SunSetter Awning, we stand behind the 5-Year Limited Manufacturer’s Warranty which covers against defects in material and workmanship. We are not responsible for installation, repair, or maintenance of the awning and are unable to comment on the quality of service performed on his SunSetter by an independentthird party. We are happy to assist him over the phone to best help him enjoy his SunSetter.

When I purchased the awning from Mr. [redacted], [redacted] he did not tell me he was an independent dealer for SusSetters he let on to me he was selling direct from SunSetters and the warranty was for 5 years. All I want is to get my awning repaired ASAP.
