The order was processed as agreed by customer and grass4sale.comUnfortunately the customer attempted to cancel after the product was loaded on the truck and harvestedWe let the customer know that our policy is to deliver once the grass is harvested for the customerWe require hours notice to cancel and order

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: As is this company's modus operandi, they are not ethical and truthful The attached invoice has been submitted to my attention only once, on 4/10/ They have not sent me an invoice multiple times as they have indicated This company has threatened to place a lien on my homestead Most recently, they have erroneously copied me on an internal email chain that alludes to sending the "whole amount" to a collection company Also, one internal company email references me as "he caused a big problem" I have also attached a copy of this internal email that was mistakenly sent to my attention The big problem that this company has, is that they have associates that practice unethical business practice and then do whatever it takes to cover their mistakes, at the customer's expense I have been very clear that I am willing to pay for partial soil cultivation and applicable taxes Grass4sale.com does not wish to honor the truth and to provide and amended invoice I also have attached a copy of the email whereas [redacted] , company representative, admits that the prep work was not complete Furthermore, in a telephone conversation with [redacted] , I mentioned improper behavior on the work site (my residence) by the installer which I chose not to elaborate on at the time However, in lieu of this company's responses and actions, it is time to make this public as well The installer, ***, had asked me for a cup of ice so that he could drink his [redacted] *** I obliged As I am walking out on to my back porch to give him the cup of ice, he is standing mere inches from his wife/girlfriend He has his music earphones on so he does not hear me walk out She is blocked by him so she does not see me walk out on to the porch She has her left hand in his right pocket and he says loudly (due to wearing his earphones is my guess), "I know what you are looking for!" Imagine their surprise when they finally noticed me standing there with the cup in hand I am guessing that this is why they left my premises WITHOUT notifying me A professional installer would: Have not had his wife/girlfriend and chihuahua at the work site Not acted inappropriately at the work site Notified the owner of the work site when leaving to have the job inspected prior to departure, not to mention returning the borrowed cup, and ensuring that the gate to the yard is secured As I have mentioned in my final email to a company representative by the name of ***, this is not a money issue rather one of principle If grass4sale.com has ethical business principles, they will act and provide an amended invoice that reflects the work that was actually completed at my residence, partial soil cultivation, and they will cease threatening to place a lien on my homestead, and to send the "whole amount" to a debt collector Regards, [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: The response is only true for the first time the grass was delayedThis company rescheduled on me two times after this and had no explanation as to when my grass would be delivered or what the reason for the delay was and would not respond to emails or phone callsAlso, the company delivered dead grass instead of healthy grass to lay in my yardThis company is a scam as noted in all other Revdex.com complaints against this company submitted by other unhappy customers such as myself!! This was a non-paying customerWe never charged his card We told him from the very beginning that with economical delivery, his order would be delivered in anywhere from days to 2-weeks He misunderstood our policy and placed his order online for economical delivery He called back two days later to cancel and we informed him that there would be a 10% fee for canceling as our policy states for economical orders This is when he decided to place a complaint with the Revdex.com We never charged his card even for the 10%, so there is nothing to dispute

We were told not to install by the customer, grass4sale was willing and able to complete the order as ordered and agreed to by both parties

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: It would seem that they are not taking any of my issue seriously I say this because they are just typing out a quick answer without looking specifically into my concern They even typed the sentence incorrectly"We warranty will cover what is noted on the web site." Now I know why they have the worst rating possible with the Revdex.com - an FI still request that a full replacement of the sod, as well as, that they cover the cost to reinstall the new DEL MAR sod Regards, [redacted]

We typically do not offer next day delivery when a customer orders choosing standard delivery For this situation, however, we did have a truck heading that way the next day (2/21/15) that had some room on it and we fully expected to be able to deliver that order We went out of our way to offer this next day deliveryI explained that if we could not get her order on that delivery that we just wouldn't charge her card We were able to get her order on that delivery and yet, we did not charge the card The issue that delayed the shipment was that the driver that had her order on his truck got a flat tire that day This was something that was completely unforeseeable and out of our control We ended up canceling the order for the customer and never charged the customer's card

Complaint: [redacted] Thank you for your time today As I have stated previously, there were multiple missed delivery deadlines I attempted to cancel the order, after being informed that my order was "being freshly harvested and shipping today" I originally considered paying for an upgraded delivery charge, however, the sale rep stated "your in texas, we're in texas we're harvesting local, so it will be there way before you need it" I paid for sod and sod installation The sod arrived dead and no installation took place At no point did I inform them to not install; however, I did tell them I would refuse shipment It was delivered I had attempted to cancel the delivery, they stated since it was "already being havested and shipping today" that its not possible to cancel After several missed "deliveries" and taking time off work, I contacted a local company and had sod installed in my front yard It arrive several days after I attempted to cancel with grass4sale.com and multiple previous missed delivered and stories of "it's being harvested right now and is shipping later today" I had attached photos of the sod delivered You'll notice a few photos from of grass4sale.com's sod placed on my front lawn You will see the sod delivered from grass4sale.com that was "freshly harvested", when compared to what was installed a few days earlier The photos were taken on the day I came home and found grass4sale.com's delivered placed in front of our home .My lawn service company stated they wouldn't be caught dead trying to install anything remotely close to this type of quality, even on a extremely low budget commercial project There are several other photos available, let me know if you'd like to view more I appreciate your attention to the matter and look forward to hearing from you [redacted]

This customer ordered Economical shipping, which the date is chosen by grass4sale.com the customer has the right to cancel up to hours prior to harvest, the customer attempted to cancel hour prior to deliveryBased on the discount already given in the form of waiving the filing fees for the lien that placed, we have already discounted 20% of this orderThank you

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Grass4Sale made no attempt to address my complaints with their response Specific reasons for rejection follow First, regarding their comment "We have delivered the full amount ordered in a timely manner," this statement is not at all accurate As quantified in my complaint the full order was not received and I have ample proof available to support this claim (e.gphotos) I invite Grass4Sale to my home (by appointment only) to inventory the sod delivered/used So far as delivering in a "timely manner," my complaint clearly details that the order was delivered later than the paid for scheduled delivery due to reasons the company admitted was their fault (delivery vehicle mechanical problems) and not the fault of weather Second, in response to portion of response that states "this customer has placed orders from grass4sale and has been satisfied with everything until the last order," that is partly accurate I would qualify this by stating that all but of the previous orders were delivered on time, while order was delayed due to weather/heavy rains preventing harvesting of sod, which is no fault of the company In addition, the previous orders were inventoried by me and found to be near full orders, thus no complaint was made regarding quantity delivered Regardless, my satisfaction with previous orders has no bearing whatsoever on this complaint I request that Grass4Sale respond my original complaint The response, at a minimum, should include level of detail that supports their assertion that the orders were of the "full amount" and also explains why my claim of delivery well beyond the assured delivery date, that I paid extra for, is not accurate Regards, [redacted] ***

I ordered from Grass4sale.com on Aug and thought I had selected the 29th of Aug for delivery I had planned to lay the sod on Aug on my day off I ended up receiving the sod on the 26th and immediately contacted grass4sale.com They informed me that I did indeed select the 26th After explaining what had happened, they were more than happy to accommodate my request and pickup the first pallet and place another order to be delivered on the 29th Great customer service!

First I re-scheduled an order because of weatherThe delivery showed up anyways despite days notice on my partAfter that I was weary of their organizationSo the week of my new delivery date I called several times to make sure everything was on trackI was assured everything was fine the day before and the day of deliveryI had a crew waiting all day until I was told at 4:30pm that the grass was set to be delivered the following TuesdayBesides the fact I had to pay a crew for nothing, I work Tuesdays! I asked that they cover the installAfter several follow up calls they determined that they would not meet with me half way and they cancelled my order without askingSo I was left with a dirt lawn prepped and ready to go that needed grass before the next rainThe Zoysia I wanted was sold out in Georgia so I ended up installing something less ideal after spending thousands including money lost on pointless labor!!!

I ordered pallets of grass and was promised delivery in mid March Here it is early May and I just hung up with Valerie After reading many reviews, she has to hate her job because all she must do is take calls from very upset and frustrated customers She didn't have an answer on when I would get a delivery because the farm hasn't called her back yet We did have some rain in the past few weeks but I will attest the communication from this company is atrocious and unreliable to say the least Buyer beware! Not a good company to do business with

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: My driveway is still stained from leaked oil from grass4sale.com delivery equipment The equipment required to deliver product is required to operate properly Grass4sale.com ruined personal property due to improperly functioning equipment The company failed in almost every aspect of this order (not just the stained driveway as mentioned in original complaint) and a resolution will not be reached until grass4sale.com refunds 100% of all monies I have incurred cost cleaning up after grass4sale.com I have spent money for cleaning supplies and labor to pressure wash the large sections of stained driveway, and my driveway is still stained with large oil stains I still have grass that seems to be dying even when watered religiously Grass4sale.com products and service have been some of the worst I have had in some time I am asking for a refund due to an awful product, awful service, and a complete unwillingness to work directly with the customer to ensure happinessResolution could have been reached long before the Revdex.com had to get involved but due to length of time from installation to now and terrible follow up with a dissatisfied customer a full refund is in orderI am left with a badly stained driveway and have to hire another grass company to replace the bad products delivered by grass4sale 100% Refund required Regards, ***/ [redacted] / [redacted]

A kind and upbeat sales rep that knew what she was talking about and really listened to my concerns and needsAfter 2-weeks had passed they even called just to see how things were going and if had received my productI'll be going back many times

1. We do not allow cancellations of orders within 48 hours before delivery and especially once it has been shipped. 2. Your order had already been cut when you decided to cancel your order. 3. Your lawn was prepped and ready for the sod installation. 4. We offered to send another installer to complete your installation since you were not happy with the first one, but you would not have that. We canceled your order per your request despite our terms and conditions. Because the prep was done, the whole amount of prep would have to be paid (the amount on the invoice). Normally, we would not allow any refund, but we were willing to work with you. Grass4sale has already had loses of over 1k for custom harvesting his grass that he would not allow to be installed.
