Dear [redacted],in response to your attached letter dated April 17, 2015 and the original complaint submitted on 2-1-15, I offer the following response:Included with [redacted] home sale is a 1-year warranty. We do warrant the electrical system however if a circuit trips due to a specific...
appliance that is not compatible with the code required AFCI controlled outlets, there may be occasions that the Homeowner/User is the source of the issue. Attached to this response is the section of the National Association of Home Builder's Performance Quality Guidelines related to this breaker tripping issue. As you can see there are certain appliances that will trip AFCI breakers and the systems are operating correctly. Understanding this our Vendor visited the [redacted] home on February 26th, 2015 and attached is a Service Order that was signed by the Homeowner indicating that Dining room light circuit was repaired.Please contact me should you need any further assistance.Sincerely,Stephen F.
