Sunstar Heating & Aire

Sunstar Heating & Aire is a reckless company. Their service technician did more harm than good. We don't recommend this company.

Barbara Sheele of Sunstar Heating & Aire at 4701 E CRESCENT AVE MESA 85206 ripped our family off. She installed a brand new air conditioning unit and it failed. Then, she tried to charge us for a brand new one. Later to fund out, Barbara Sheele of Sunstar Heating & Aire is also under tax fraud charges by the IRS and has numerous tax liens against her. Additionally, her son Kevin Sheele, was convicted for drug possession and a restraining order was ordered against him for contact with his ex-wife. Additionally, if you look on sites like Facebook, Yelp, Yahoo, Topix, Yellow Pages, Super Pages, Home Advisor, Porch, Trust Link and many more, you’ll see the horrific reviews for Sunstar Heating and Aire for many years. I discovered all of this too late. If you want good service, you really need to go to an established reputable company like George Brazil, Howard Air, Hendels, Sun Devil Heating & Cooling, Croffoot Heating and Air Conditioning , etc. Sunstar Heating & Aire will try to take advantage of you.

Sunstar Heating and Aire failed to properly repair our air handler. They left a mess on the site. Fortunately for us, we found another company that did the correct work. We suggest you try somebody else and not Sunstar Heating and Aire.

I am [redacted]. We had the misfortune to request Sunstar Heating and Aire to repair our air conditioning machine. I am in the process of bringing legal notification to the owner Barbara Sheele. The inept actions by this company have been documented by Howard Air and George Brazil Company. Please get several quotes/bids prior to authorizing this company to do anything to your property.

The extremely poor experience we had with Barbara S[redacted] is only surpassed by the frustrating low-quality service Sunstar Heating & Aire provided. We would NOT advise anyone to use this company. After realizing our mistake, we finally called George Brazil. They fixed all of the problems Barbara S[redacted] and Sunstar Heating and Aire created. It's really depressing to have to deal with this. See the dent on our unit they provided "free" of charge. This was next to a pile of trash they also left for us to clean up.

Our experience was generally negative with Sunstar. They were friendly at first but failed to properly determine an issue with our air handler.

Sunstar Heating and Aire is not good. I've had problems with my AC from the day they installed my unit. I've called them every summer sometimes twice a summer but they never fix anything. They just put a "band aid" on it so it could last past the warranty and now after warranty they want to replace my coils and say its had a leak all along. Records indicate work that was never done. Manager is incompetent and I would NOT recommend this company to anyone. Just wasted over $300 and the AC lasted for a month and now it's bad again. The unit Sunstar Heating and Aire installed never worked properly This company is a sham. Technicians always have a different story and the manager is incompetent. Really bad customer service. BE VERY CAREFUL.

At the intial contact, SunStar and Heating were pleasant. They installed a new air conditioning unit at our place. After that point, we've had problems with them.
