The Elastomeric Roof Coating which you state was "quite old," was in fact, put on by Sunvek Roofing Company per the agreement, signed on January 3, 2013, with the job completed on January 8, This was the roof that your company recommended to me One of the selling points that motivated my purchase was that it came with a five-year warrantyI began experiencing the leaking problem over the Garage area almost immediately after completionThe first call was made in September of You would send one of your employees out who would in for lack of better words, install a band-aid to temporarily stop the problem After calling so many times, I contacted you personally and pleaded with you to do something before my ceiling would collapseYou then asked for a few minutes to work up your proposal and within a few minutes presented me with your professional opinionYour proposal quoted me three figures and you asked me to make a choice You never stated that I needed a new roof, but, presented me a figure of $to replace the roof that was still under warranty The other two figures that I was quoted were for the repair of the area over the Garage in which you agreed to "apply SPF/coating at - pie shaped area, which you said you had marked off on my roof for your employee's to repair The cost to me would be an additional $for the roof repair and $to repair the damaged area of the drywall ceiling inside the GarageYou handed me your proposal and asked me to choose what I wished to have you do I asked for the Garage repair because that is the reason I asked for you to come outYour Company did the repair which I bought and paid for in August Come March of we had our first major rain storm The roof totally failed MrS***! It appeared as though my Garage ceiling would collapse and I was frantic about what to do now I ask please that you reconsider, and refund me the moneyMake me a happy customer

We are aware of the situation at this roof The original roof system was quite old, and would ideally have been replaced The homeowner did not want to invest the funds to do this, so a more limited scope was prepared This work was performed Subsequent to work at the home,
the original roofing began to fail in additional areas Rather than have us perform the additional work originally recommended, the homeowner elected to have another company do this work There will be no refund, since the work specified was performed and another company did the additional recommended work

The first call was made in September of 2014.  You would send one of your employees out who would in for lack of better words, install a band-aid to temporarily stop the problem.  After calling so many times, I contacted you personally and pleaded with you to do something before my ceiling would collapse. You then asked for a few minutes to work up your proposal and within a few minutes presented me with your professional opinion. Your proposal quoted me three figures and you asked me to make a choice.  You never stated that I needed a new roof, but, presented me a figure of $8312.00 to replace the roof that was still under warranty.  The other two figures that I was quoted were for the repair of the area over the Garage in which you agreed to "apply SPF/coating at - pie shaped area, which you said you had marked off on my roof for your employee's to repair.  The cost to me would be an additional $375.00 for the roof repair and $1150.00 to repair the damaged area of the drywall ceiling inside the Garage. You handed me your proposal and asked me to choose what I wished to have you do.  I asked for the Garage repair because that is the reason I asked for you to come out. Your Company did the repair which I bought and paid for in August 2016.  Come March of 2017 we had our first major rain storm.  The roof totally failed Mr. S[redacted]! It appeared as though my Garage ceiling would collapse and I was frantic about what to do now.  I ask please that you reconsider, and refund me the money. Make me a happy customer.

We have refunded the amount paid as a gesture of goodwill.

Over a week ago, I contacted this company to have them diagnose a roof leak. They gave me a date and time for the appointment. When no one arrived after 2 hours past the appointment time, I contacted them only to be told they wouldn't be coming. They didn't even bother to call me to let me know. I took the day off from work to be here and needed this problem addressed as rain is in the forecast. They didn't care at all. I sincerely hope others read this and they don't contact this poorly run company.

I had a great experience with [redacted], the President of Sunvek. The recent storms caused some damage to my roof and [redacted] and his team were very quick to respond and handle my request in a very timely fashion. [redacted] was incredibly professional and shared my roof repair options during his visit. Great service and incredibly timely!

I chose Sunvek to complete my roofing repair after getting bids from several other contractors. I decided on Sunvek because they seemed professional and were rated well on Revdex.com. Unfortunately, after I made the initial payment for work, everything went downhill. After the sales person left (with my check) I heard nothing from Sunvek for 3 weeks. Finally I called them to schedule the work to be done -which was another week later. The crew showed up two hours early, 7am instead of 9. He did not speak English or have an identifiable work truck - just a strange man, not speaking English, at my front door. After clearing that up on the phone, the work was done, by said man. The supervisor was supposed to stop by while the worker was completing the repairs…. he did not. The supervisor did not stop by until later in the afternoon - he did not call in advance. I expressed my disappointment with Sunvek, but they didn't seem to care. I hope the roof was done correctly - certainly the worker was not licensed or certified in any way. The company is, but not the people who actually do the work. Severely Disappointed.

We had our foam roof and spray insulation done by SUNVEK and our experience was excellent. From start to finish, the employees were very helpful and attentive. The work was scheduled to accommodate our unique situation which was so kind. The crews arrived on time and were very courteous. We were very impressed with the cleanup at completion and even better, the work was completed sooner than we expected! The roof looks great and the foam walls make our home much more quiet. We highly recommend SUNVEK!

Sunvek Roofing once known as Skytop Roofing repaired a leak in November 2008. I encountered a problem when they arrived to work on the roof by bringing cheaper material then the sample given to me during the estimate. The work was delayed but the correct material (underlayment)did arrive. The work was completed.

During our heavy rainfalls these past few months the roof began to leak in the area where Sunvek Roofing repaired. I am aware that the warranty had expired a few months before since it was a 5 year warranty. I called Sunvek to inform them of the leak and an estimate was given and on the second visit the production manager came to check the leak. The manager informed me that it was leaking from a valley that was very close to where they repaired but it was not part of their work. I have had several roofing companies come over to give estimates and they informed me that the leak was coming from the repair by Sunvek Roofing. In addition, the other roofing companies told me that Sunvek did not repair my roof up to state code and contractors code. I know that nothing can be done to take care of the problem since the warranty has expired and the manager refused to fix it even at a compromised cost. I was also told that I was overcharged by Sunvek for the repair performed in 2008. I just thought I would place this complaint so customers won't run into the same problems I encountered with Sunvek Roofing, Inc. Thank you.

I am disappointed in Sunvek. I called on Monday and arranged an estimate for Wednesday at noon with [redacted]. I had to take time off from work as I do not want anyone on my roof when I am not at home and I made this clear when scheduling. I was home at 11:30am no one showed or called to reschedule by 3:00pm. I understand my house maybe old and the job may not have been big enough but then they should have said that and refused to come instead of scheduling an appointment. When I called the office at 3:00 the girl that answered the phone was willing to reschedule for me, which I declined. They have already shown me the type of company they are.

This company was previously Skytop Roofing. They installed my foam roof in 2003 on a spec house I purchased. After 3 or 4 years they returned at my request for an inspection ad said it was still in very good condition. this year I knew it was time for some repairs and coating. I could not find their card or phone number so I called 2 other roofers for repairs and coating. One company did the repairs for 1200.00. They both had given me estimates for coating that I thought were a bit too much.

Finally I called Sunvek and discovered it was a name change from Skytop. The estimator came out and sent me a quote within 6 hours. They were also the most reasonable and $1000.oo less than the other 2. They came the following monday and did all the repairs the other company had done wrong. They refoamed the bad spots , sanded them off and power washed the roof. The following wed. they sprayed on the bright white coating and back rolled the roof. There was no mess what so ever,and everything was cleaned up and hauled away. I have been a contractor all of my life (electrical) and do not recommend a contractor unless I have a very good experience with them. This company is that good. 100% satisfied and highly recommend.
