Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
most scrap metal buyer's pay a per pound for scrap and I never seen a max-min weight price.attached is an example that reads cents per pound and nothing states under or over pounds.***
I saw no sign indicating a minimum and maximum weight, and searching online I don't see a a minimum and maximum weight, as well.only a set price per pound .As stated employees are stealing but I will add the company is stealing as well

Scrapmonster.com is not a recycler that deals with the publicThey research and give prices that scrap dealers use with other scrap dealers in the industryThere would be no mention of pricing under pounds because these prices are for dealers who buy/sell in large quantities
All negotiated prices with the public are at arms lengthIf they do not like our price, then they do not sell to usAs a good faith offering, we are willing to give you back pounds of Alum MLC in exchange for what we paid you so that you may sell to someone elseEvery recycler open to the public has their own overhead and consequently, there own price schedule
Please refrain from stating that we are stealing when your only evidence is a price index that is given to Wholesale Scrap Dealers to conduct business with each otherThose listed price do not allow for overhead (labor, transportation, etc.)

Dear [redacted],
I have attached a copy of our most recent advertisement to run on June 11th in the Penny Saver. Under
the Aluminum pricing it clearly states that prices are quoted over 100 pounds. Mr. [redacted] brought in
only 30 pounds which subjected him to an...

alternate price scale.
All prices are given to the customer in our yard at the time of purchase in writing. If they agree with the
price, and choose to sell to us, they redeem their weight ticket at the cashier's window. If they do not
agree with the purchase price, they may recover their items to sell elsewhere.
Today, 100 pounds of Clean MLC Aluminum would go for $0.45 per pound. Based on volume, more
weight could bring in prices of up to $0.65 per pound.
While the customer maybe confused and/or unhappy, Sunwest Metals Incorporated did not cheat him.
Regards,

Review: I sold some scrap aluminum "30 lb" and the employee gave me a receipt showing 30 pounds @ 30 cents per pound.I go online and I see it going for over 60 cents a pound.I only received $9.60 for the 30 LB and on the receipt it shows clean MLC aluminum.A photo of the aluminum can be seen at [redacted]Desired Settlement: I would like a Revdex.com employee to see if this company cheats customers as it did me.
