After performing some work from *** *** he was informed that his "prototype" was to be shipped back to him and that it would cost $for shipping and handlingThis prototype is a large delicate construction of cardboard held together with screws and tape that I am sure would get destroyed in
shipping if it is not performed with careI did not have a good experience working with *** *** as he was extremely inexperienced in matters of product design and expected work to be done without chargeHis harassing emails, texts and phone calls took up way more time than allotted for the projectI am certain that if the prototype was not returned in perfect condition he would not falter in seeing that I was held responsibleI plan to ship this item back to *** *** by *** with tracking and insurance so that I can guarantee that not only did he receive the item, but that if it was lost in shipping, it was paid for by insuranceThis is the only way I will agree to returning this itemI will not meet, not will I drop the item off somewhere unattendedI also will not leave it with anyone, especially since he has gone this farI will only send it protected and insuredAt this point I am considering adding storage fees as I have been trying to get *** *** to pay for the shipping and insurance for well over a monthIf shipping is not paid for by the end of the month, I will be adding additional charges for storage

I am rejecting this response because: it does not solve the problem .  I have offered numerous alternatives for my property to be returned to me which have been rejected. If shipping my property is the only feasible solution I have already offered multiple times to provide a shipping label with insurance. However the cost of this shipping label is not $50 as this business is claiming. This business has arrived at this trumped up cost because they are charging me for their time to drop off my property with [redacted]. I am unwilling to pay clearly egregious fees for the minutes it takes to take a box to [redacted]. In addition, this business is now trying to charge me storage fees for my property to keep it in their home when they have been the party that has been unreasonable in their demands.  I am worried that even if I were to pay these overblown fees I have no guarantee of actually receiving my property or if I did that it would be in a timely fashion. My overall experience with this business has been very disappointIng. Nearly every part of this project was met with long periods of delay. What this business is stating as harassment were repeated emails and texts asking when the services promised would be delivered along with negotiations.  Often there would be days to weeks between responses and delays of the same timeframe in receiving the finished product with the deadlines specified. Answers to my questions were often not provided and it took multiple emails, texts or calls, which were often not responded to at all, to clarify specifications agreed upon.
