Super 8 Billings MT

In the past I have stayed at this same motel and been satisfied. I am a disabled vet and a senior citizen. I had a hospital procedure scheduled for Monday morning and arrived Sunday evening. My wife checked us in and remarked that the desk clerk (Skylar?) was rude. There appears to be only one handicap parking spot and it was occupied. The room was small but okay. The bathroom was a poor excuse for a handicap bathroom. The handicap rail near the toilet was very loose and unsteady. The sink was a good handicap sink but I was unable to get my chair under it because of the railing next to it. The tub was small and had a high surround that made it difficult to enter. There was a excellent handicap stool available. Unfortunately, it was much to big to fit in the tub. There were several handicap rails in the tub. In the small and narrow tub the rails were poking into me and caused me to be cut. There handheld spray nozzle worked alright but was unhandy to use. My wife complained to the desk clerk about that and another issue. The clerk threatened to throw us out. We were informed that the manager had been called and agreed that we would be thrown out if we continued to complain. I would advise anyone to look elsewhere if assigned room 132. We had driven 250 miles to get there and were not really interested in having to find another motel at that time of night. I am not happy with this treatment of a handicapped, disabled senior citizen veteran.

The motel has a good reputation for being clean and has a lot of repeat/regular business. It was unfortunate that we were unable to meet this guests expectations. We will check...
