Super 8 Columbia City

Yes this is the super 8 motel in Columbia city indiana. We have rented a hotel there at least twice with no troubles of any kind it ran pretty smoothly The third time we came we were told that the hotel could not be rented out because of construction which we knew was not true. The fourth attempt was made to rent the hotel we were told that we were banned, there was not a reason why specifically we were , the desk atttendant eluded to the fact the they ban people for being homeless, loitering, and abusing the breakfast which all of thee above are not true. We called super 8 to speak to the owner so he would give us the reason we were banned and except that reality. There were no call backs after repeated calls to the owner. We were able to talk to one of the desk attendants and she said we were not even on the ban list, because super 8 has a ban list. Also. We had reserved the hotel In Fort Wayne and the booking went through with no problems or ban list. The fifth time we left a message to a attendant to have the owner call us. We finally called him he was very unprofessional, talking over us and threatened to have us thrown off the property if we ever came back not stating the reason. I was able to surmise from him monopolizing the conversation was that we were banned because we were price gauging, meaning comparing super 8 prices with other hotels, which I thought was disingenuous considering the price gauging was not effective since we were renting his hotel. Smh in conclusion professionalism, customer service,and hospitality Is what ever hotel establishment should have. This owner was brash rude and uprofessional to the tenth power. Me and my girl do not need this level of height tech disrespect , from a person that is suppose to enhance his business. No if we were doing drugs, destroying property, harassing other patrons, it would seem plausible to not have us return. The owners was beyond unreasonable to communicate with over the phone based on baseless accusations of price gauging and being homeless and loitering super 8. This needs to be resolved and need to stay clearly why were were banned , as well as being professional as far as patrons that are paying there hard earned money to stay there just to be told not to come back based on frivolous info.
