I am writing on behalf of a complaint filed by *** *** Mr*** stated that he found multiple issues with his room, including finding needles under his bed No complaints were brought to the attention of the front desk clerk The front desk clerk on duty during Mr***'s stay
if a long time employee who is completely aware of hoe seriously we take guest complaints We would have absolutely moved Mr*** to a different room and fully inspected the room in question
Mr*** also states that his motorcycle was stolen, and the hotel staff did nothing about it, despite being aware of the incident An individual was seen attempting to remove a motorcycle from the property The police were called and the individual was arrested The hotel staff was not aware of any issues with Mr***'s motorcycle until the following morning, at which time the tapes were reviewed It was determined that the individual had placed Mr***'s motorcycle in a wooded area behind the property We have fully cooperated with police in this matter I am attaching a document we received informing the desk clerk on duty and a witness that they may be called as witness in this matter
In regards to Mr***'s request for a refund, his reservation was booked and paid in advance through hotels.com Unfortunately, when reservations are booked in this way, the hotel does not directly charge the guest, nor do we receive the guests credit information Mr*** would need to contact the booking agent for hotels.com directly to receive any form of refund Please feel free to contact me should there be any additional questions Have a super day!

I am emailing in reference to complaint ID #[redacted]. Complaint states that the guest was charged $200.00 for smoking in a non-smoking room. Guest further states that there was no actual smoking in the room, that an ashtray was dumped...

in the room trash can. However, guests are verbally informed at check in that any smoking material disposed in the room would be considered evidence of smoking. Guests also initial this information on the registration card. There are signs posted at each entrance, as well as trash receptacles to dispose of these items. We did not charge the guest the $200.00 clean up fee, only asked that they check out. No additional fees have been charged to this guest. In 2013, Art of Engineering (Scott [redacted]) provided engineering services for our addition / remodeling project.
Scott missed two of our first three scheduled meetings. Later, there were periods when Scott returned neither phone calls nor emails.
Scott asked me to take my project prospectus, which was clearly not a set of plans, to Regional Building to ask what I would need to get approval. In retrospect I feel that this request was both inappropriate and unprofessional.
Scott did connect us with an architectural draftsman who worked closely and patiently with us in developing the plans.
Our plans included an attached greenhouse which employed earth tube heating and cooling. Scott approved the plans without verifying whether the earth tube system was adequate. This seems to me to have been professional negligence on his part. Based on my subsequent literature review, our preliminary design (which Scott had approved without checking) would have been woefully inadequate.
