Unfortunately, at the time when guest checkwhich was before 6am our system date hasn't changed yet for the next day and I believe that was explained to the person checking in and was given extended check out of 12pm or laterAs for the charge of half a day of $was refunded back to the guest since the company had already paid for a second nightWe are only sorry that you had this bad experience, again please accept our most sincere apologiesWe deeply value your relationship with Super Yreka and are committed to providing you with the highest level of service simply because our customers deserve the very bestYours in service, ***-GM

Review: I was involved in an vehicle accident on 10/28/15 at 2am and was transported by Caltrans to the Super 8 Motel in Yreka CA. I checked in at 6am and at noon I was told I had to leave or pay another 72.00 for another night. I explained my situation of waiting for a ride from Stockton CA at 6 or 7 pm of the same day. Due to an issue with their maid service they did pro-rate the room and charged me 35.00 for 6 hours which is basically 5.00 per hour. They did not explain any policy and procedures until I was told to leave or pay! I believe they were "acting in poor faith" because had I known their policy upfront I could have made a decision to stay or go to the motel across the street. This was an emergency situation and not a planned stay, otherwise I would have researched in advance. I did call corporate office and spoke to [redacted], who said since they are a franchise they can do whatever they want with their policies.Desired Settlement: I would like my 35.00 refunded to me due to the fact that the policy was not explained when I checked in and I had no where else to go at the time.
