I am rejecting this response because:Lou gave me explanation after explanation as to why the car was continuously smokingHe told me it was this it was that and a used car isn't going to be newReally?? I wasn't aware of that LouHe told me the parts to buy and he would fix the problemLou obviously don't know what he's talking aboutI gave the car back to him in better condition than I bought itTo me he is a thief and relys on screwing people over to keep his business runningI would love my $back if thats what I can getI should of kept my receipts so I can prove how much I spent on partsI would have never kept the car as long as I did if he would have just told me the real issue because I have a feeling if he's so smart when it comes to cars he would have known it wasn't worth the money he was selling it for.
Sincerely,
*** ***

I have answered each of your points in the same order that you made them
In relation to the service contract I was never notified that it was voided nor did they return the money to me nor, as it seems, did they return the money to youThat contract should have still been in effectThe contract with them is also over miles or time so by time alone you should have received the service
As for the odometer we were not aware it was broken, now do we know when it brokeThis is a year old car and it was sold as isWe did all the paper work in good faith
As I mentioned earlier, as far as I know the contract with the service company is specified miles or specified time period whichever comes first
When you brought the car to us before we took it we told you that we had work we needed to complete on our cars before we could see yoursThe time it took for us to see your car was probably two or three weeks at the mostWe did call you at that time and we finally gave you a call to pick it up for the second time because we did not want it to get towed away. We moved its parking spot a few times before that to insure it would not be towed awayAs for the dollars we told you this quote because the parts for you car are worth about 700, the dollars for labor is a small amount compared to what would normally be charged by an outside mechanic for labor
As for the service contract: since the company said they cannot honor the contract because it was void from inception, they should either return your money for that reason (and they should be able to give it directly to you) or they should honor the service contract

First of all Mr*** did give as a down payment, but when we took the car back as he wanted, we only took the reasonable fees for the time he had it which was about He got the rest of the money in the form of a checkAs for the parts, I do not know how much he paid for those, but
I will point out that he bought the vehicle "as is", so diagnosing the problem and installing the parts that he was bringing us was costing us time we did not charge him for (mechanic's labor time). We did our best to accommodate Mr*** and now he is calling us names and coming up with numbers that make no senseMr*** had the vehicle for some days, he did not like it, we took it backI feel that the problem was already resolved to the best of our ability and I would appreciate if Mr*** ceased with the name calling as it is offensive
Thank you

As I mentioned before, we believe we have dealt with this fairly and can do nothing further

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:

My grandmother purchased the Protection plan from you, therefore, my grandmother paid Super America Auto Sales for the protection plan.  I believe that Super America Auto Sales should at least refund the amount for the protection plan.

When I spoke with ASC Warranty they said they could not do anything for me, they couldn't verify the total amount of miles on the Odometer because it was broken.  Therefore the plan was no longer valid regardless of how much time has passed.  I can also provide notes from the phone call with ASC Warranty.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

The vehicle protection plan I bought from Super America Auto Sales  was null and void as indicated by ASC Warranty when I initially called.  ASC Warranty indicated they could not honor my agreement because the odometer was broken. The mileage was listed at 141,999 mi on the odometer in October, 2015 which was the same mileage listed when I initially purchased the car in July, 2015.When the vehicle was sold to me by Super America Auto Sales, the Odometer was broken, I was not notified by the dealership, and this was not indicated anywhere on the contract issued by the dealership that I signed. Also, Super America Auto Sales did not indicate that the Warranty Agreement was contingent upon the car having a functional Odometer, nor was this indicated on the protection plan sold to me by the dealership.
Because the odometer was broken ASC Warranty company said they could not verify the actual mileage on the vehicle, and could not honor the protection plan. They indicated and instructed me to contact the dealership - Super America Auto Sales, and work this out with them.  ASC Warranty indicated very clearly they could not assist me with the car.
The manager at Super America Auto Sales said he would do his best to help me with the car, and would have it looked over by his mechanic. They took over 2 months to determine what was wrong, and multiple follow-up calls on my part to get an answer.  The manager indicated that it would cost about $1,000 in parts to fix the car, and they could fix it if I were willing to pay.  He indicated that they would pay for labor and that was the best they could do.  He also said he was "helping me" me out with this offer.  I have a voicemail recording from the receptionist at Super America Auto Sales with this message.
(I'm not sure if you should add this part, I'll let you decide) At the very least Super America Auto Sales should refund the full amount for a protection plan I cannot use.  I am also asking they give me a refund on the vehicle itself as they failed to indicate at during the sale of the car that the odometer (a very critical piece of information that can sway a person's decision to purchase a vehicle) was not working at all.
Provided are documents showing the ODOMETER readout when I first purchased the car, and a receipt Rudy's Automotive in Port Angeles showing the same readout for the Odometer at the time of the incident.Sincerely,[redacted]

We sold the vehicle to Mr. [redacted] with a service contract so that if he should have any problems they would be able to get the vehicle fixed through the service contract company.  The service company said that they could not fix the car so they reached out to us. We told them that we would...

look at the car, which we did. We gave them an option to try and fix the car but they chose not to accept it. The car was sold AS IS and so helping them fix the vehicle by asking them to pay for the cost of the parts plus a small amount for the labor is what we felt was fair. We were trying to reach a compromise with them but they wanted an option we could not offer. In my opinion they should reach out to the service contract company because we did pay for the contract as we had told them.
