The house keepers could smell marijuana coming from the guest roomPolice were called and with their help they knocked on the guest room doorAfter several moments, the children opened the door and the police entered the room looking for the adultsAfter seeing that there was no adults in the room everybody left the roomThe police could see in the children's eyes that they were suffering from second hand marijuana smokeThe children then called their parents and the parents soon returned to the hotelAs soon as the parents walked in they started yelling at the clerkUpset that we entered their room without permissionThe police had the children's permissionAnd they were upset of being accused of smoking marijuana in the roomThey claimed it was sage however, the police confirmed it was marijuanaThe guest became so verbally abusive and using such foul language that the police were called again to the hotel and they were asked to leave the hotel with the help of the policeThe clerk never spoke to the childrenThe police didThat was only to find out where the parents were and when they would returnNo body searched the belongingsNot even the policeThe guest was refunded for their second night stay after they were asked to leave the hotelThe guest signed the registration page agreeing to a $additional cost of room rent if they decided to smoke in the room which they did do and so they were charged $additional room rentThe hotel has legal right to enter any room where illegal activity is taking placeWith or without permissionWe also have legal right to evict any person who is being abusive towards an employeeFor the employees protection the police were calledThe guest may still be charged with possession of an legal substance and disturbing the peaceThe guest was charged one night rent of $and additional room rent of $That they agreed to
