He will want to see the existing chair, and both refrigerators so he can take pictures of make, model, dents, etc. This information will be brought back to our Senior VP to then discuss possible repair and possible replacement options. Dear Mrs***, We are very sorry to hear about the experiences surrounding your move in November 2017. We do pride ourselves on having an A+ rating with the Revdex.com for many years. I wanted to address some of your concerns regarding the complaint. All damaged items that were
claimed according to your contract were acknowledged and a settlement was sent. Although it may not have been to your satisfaction, the coverage was discussed with you by your Mid-West Moving & Storage representative. You chose to accept minimum carrier’s liability. Historically 50% of our customers choose minimum liability instead of choosing additional because they may have a home owners insurance policy that covers them during the moveYou chose the lowest rate and signed a contract approving it; this is the rate that was then offered you in settlement. The settlement offered was $248.70, plus there was an additional $offered as a creditOn Behalf of Mid-West Moving & Storage we apologize for your inconveniences and we are happy to cooperate further as deemed necessary

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.they obviously did not read my complaint. The woman told me she charged me $2 extra (not tax- it was an even $2 added WITHOUT USING A REGISTER to the total cost that came up on the weight scale for my food.  She told me she charged me extra because it was "small order. Only one item". Yes. I did only get one item. She never even calculated the tax. I guess she figured the $2 covered the tax and a little in her pocket! My food was between 4$4-5. 6% tax on that is, at most, .30 cents. The business response makes no sense. I put my food on the scale, the total by weight came up on the scale, she added $2 to it and told me that's what it cost. Not .30 tax.Also, this has not happened except the last 2 visits. Before that I was accurately charged. The first  time it happened, I didn't think about it til after I left and realized I'd been overcharged.

Review: I have frequented this business since they came to Zelienople several years ago. Their sign in the front window advertises a lunch takeout price, and a dinner price. No problem. On my last 2 visits, I have been charged exactly $2.00 more than what the food scale said I should be. I didn't realize it soon enough last time, but tonight I questioned it.Today I questioned the price difference. I was told that I was charged extra because I only got one item. There is no indication or sign of this nature.It's obvious this is just something they randomly tack on, as she did not even figure the tax and then add a surcharge. She added a flat $2 to my bill and did not even acknowledge my argument as to no indication or signage. She stared down at the register with her hand out for money.Desired Settlement: I just wanted people to be aware, and I hope some type of action will be taken since I believe they are gouging people.
