Super Diva Kid's Spa

Review: A party was booked through this company for my daughter's 5th birthday. The spa people were supposed to arrive a little before the start of the party to set up and service my guests. They called me at 12:58, saying they were on their way, but traffic was bad. The next phone call I received was at 2:27 (27 minutes after party started) where they stated they were 20 minutes away. We waited and waited (meanwhile had a house of at least 30 people, adults and kids, with no "party stuff" planned.) and they finally showed up at 3:17. As they began bringing in all of their props, I realized it was not going to work as the party was to be over in 45 mins. I then apologized, but said they did not have to set up or do anything because there was not enough time. The [redacted] said she understood and that she would give me a refund for the amount I prepaid - $85. Now she is saying she is charging me a travel fee of $40. I expect a full refund and now cannot reach them on the phone.Desired Settlement: I would like my prepaid FULL amount of $85 refunded to my credit card.

Review: The services and party I expected was not received.So much to say that I don't know where to begin. I will give you a list. 1 - I walked in and they were not ready, they were just beginning to set up. 2- The attitude and the energy I received from the very beginning was horrible, but considering it was my daughters 8th birthday, I tried to make the best of it. 3- There weren't enough robes for every girl. 4- They had no organization AT ALL..One of my guest sat there for 40 minutes ignored. No one knew where they should be or what they were doing for the guest. In the middle of the party they kept asking the manager what or where they should be. 5 - young inexperienced girls as workers. The hair part of it was a joke.. they couldn't even do a bun, make up.. if you want your child to look like a clown then this is the place to go... 6. upon arriving at home our daughter told us she was shoved to get in line for the fashion show wile behind the curtain... I thenk called all the moms to ask their child about it and 4 of the 12 said the same. 7 - the owner Tamika has the nerve to tell me this happened because 4 of her girls were out on a mobile party (when the manager told me 2 girls called out sick so everyone had a different story). My question is, why would you book two at the same time if this is in face the truth that they were out on a mobile party. So my party gets less girls to cause this? Then goes out towards end of party to try to help. It was already too late. I had parents upset, kids frustrated and disappointing. And last but not least.. we couldn't even cut my daughters cake or do the shopping bar I spent a lot of money on because their lights kept shutting off and the owner had no clue how to fix it. so the last half hour of our two hour party was in the dark. Not to mention the fact that they denied my daughter a second slice of pizza claiming there was none and come to find out two of the workers were eating some. Also served the kids soda.. who serves 8 year olds soda..... Actually I cant believe I almost forgot one more.... I don't think this place is up to par at all. Definitely should be inspected. holes in wall, no light in bathroom, not mention no soap. its so disgusting some people chose to wait and use the bathroom when they left.. I cant imagine that the make up and everything else is kid friendly just seeing everything. I'm beyond disgusted and mortified. My guest left there upset and frustrated. I'm dissapointed that I spent $1 and believe under these circumstances my money should be rufunded so I can have a party elswehere and make this up to my duaghter and her friends.
