So I got Super Handyman Services info off of [redacted] Cabinets website for a license dealer of their cabinets Jeremy came out and I showed him a drawing of what I wanted and a picture print out of what another dealer gave me He measured and said based off of that picture and his measurement I have a inch gap at the end of my cabinets so we should expand my cabinet by the sink inches so we have a inch gap and he will get a filler I agreed not realizing he should have increased the cabinet above it inches as well He also recommended I put a cabinet all the way out over my fridge instead of one I couldn't reach way in the back Great idea I thought We had a signed contract for 6,plus 1,to order, deliver and install There where many mistakes on the order when he showed it to me and I pointed it out and explained again what I wanted and thought all was well Then the order came back at and he decided he didn't want to install them anymore and wanted to order them or he wasn't going to order them for me He also said if I couldn't find someone to deliver them he would because he had a box truck, because I was like what if I can get someone to install it but they can't pick them up He was way cheaper than the other dealers so I did it Then the cabinets came in, he refused to deliver them for me I had to call [redacted] and explain what happened and they gave me their installer and delivered them for me for a fee of course The cabinet by the sink had to be cut down inches so the it didn't throw off the alignment of the uppers to the lowers My cabinet over the microwave is inches to short so my microwave is way high with six inches of cabinet on the sides left over My cabinet all the way out over my fridge is also inches short so I have a inch gap between the fridge and the cabinet and the cabinet is not finished on the bottom so its Natural maple underneath and Cherrywood on the out side It looks terrible Oh and I have a and 7/gap at the end of my cabinets I called him and complained and asked him to come look at it and he says it's what I ordered I checked the order and approved it I told him he did the measuring and I did what he told me I needed I filled a complaint with the ROC and they tell me they don't cover mistakes on ordering it and if he had installed it wrong that way they could have gone after him So absolutely no help there so now I'm out another 1,to reorder the cabinets correctly over my microwave and fridge then I'll have to pay the installer to fix it I also had to order a new inch trim piece to cover the end gap I am so frustrated with this company and don't recommend them for anything!!!

Jeremy A. said he could fix a leak in my enclosed screen room. There is a band at the bottom of the room outside where it meets the cement slab. He said he would scrape out previous caulk and use a silicone white waterproof caulk bead on the top of the band and use cement on the bottom to make it a bit sloping so the water would bounce off. It is a small room and the rain would seep in at the bottom forming puddles in the room. He said this would cost $1200. I thought that outrageous and then he dropped it to $850.15. I still thought it high but he had so many stars and maybe it would be worth it. He said it was guaranteed for 2 years. I asked him if that included the 3 sides of the room in case there were future leaks on the sides too, as that is what I wanted. He said yes and he would do that. I signed the contract then and he wanted the money in advance. I gave it to him. The appointment was set up. He came an hour late (I called him to ask if he was coming). He came eating a bar and drinking bottled water and said he did not know my name (it was on his ipad and contract) and he would like to use an available bathroom or he would go in the backyard. I let him in and I did not have a good impression of him and had a gut feeling the last time too, but those stars kept popping into my head. He said he could have gone in his truck but this was easier. He said he likes to work alone.

I left him alone but went outside after a bit to see what he was doing. I was shocked that he was plastering a wide black sealer strip across the length of the room. He said he would then put cement on top. Well, this is not what we had discussed. It looked like a mess to tell the truth. I noticed he was only doing one side of the room. I again told him we had discussed that I wanted it on 3 sides and he said he would not do that. (In other words then, $850.15 was for one side only????). I told him again what we agreed on and he again refused. He argued quite a bit about this and I then told him to refund some of my money and leave, I would have someone else complete the job. Again he argued stating he didn't have the supplies to do it all, that he had only allowed enough supplies for the one side. I told him to leave then and I expected some refund. I then went in the house and got my camera and came out and took pictures. He asked why I was taking pictures and I said to show that you did not finish the job - "you have a choice of 2 things, either finish the job or refund some of my money and leave." I refused to argue further with him. I went back in the house and he apparently had enough supplies to finish the job. Then he asked me to come out and look at it. It was very disappointing - a real mess with black tar like substance splattered along the walls and above the bulk of the concrete. I just said that it is likely the leaks will be stopped. And I went in and he left. I would never have Jeremy do any further work for me (and I had several other jobs I could have asked him to do). I felt he was taking financial advantage of me. He worked exactly 4 hours - that is $200/hr. vs. the $400/hr. he originally asked. The job is a sloppy job. He did not stick to our agreement or contract.

I want to warn people that you should NOT pay in advance, and to have exact words in writing as to what is expected. If the room leaks within the 2 year period, I would definitely NOT want Jeremy to come back.

He will try to take advantage of you financially. I already have a name for someone to come out and try to cosmetically fix the mess he made. By the way, I pointed out to him that the gutters seemed plugged and was leaking on the end. He could see that and said he would fix it, but of course, he did not.

Never had such a bad experience.

We used Superhandy Man for a few of our in house projects at USA Great Skate and he was fast and efficient with the job(s) that needed to be done. We added a new seating area that needed lighting installed and Jeremy did a great job.
