I am rejecting this response because: the business owner is ignoring the primary issue in that the entire reason why there is a misunderstanding is because one of their staff member created it by stating that he was going to charge two children an extra $5.00 each for taking to long to choose a color of nail polish to put on their nails.  This additional charge was stated after the work/service had already been started and when questioned about the validity of the charge, the staff member could not produce any documentation to support the additional charge.  I have attached a recent photo their price list which does seem support their claim that a normal set is $25 but if you look closely at the price list, the last number is $25 is a piece of paper that appears to have been added on after the original list was professionally printed.  When this change was made is uncertain but it is suspicious given the circumstances of this complaint.  Also, there isn't any reference in the price list of an additional $5 charge for taking to long.The business owner's staff created this misunderstanding entirely when they took advantage of the innocence of two girls and stated that he was going to charge them the additional fee for some ridiculous reason that in his opinion they took to long to pick a color.  That staff member compounded the misunderstanding further by not being able to produce documentation to support the additional charge.The business owner's staff further compounded the misunderstanding when the children's parent called the business within 30 minutes of the service being completed and asked to speak to a manager and owner and was given the run around that the manager or owner had just left.  When the parent asked for a phone number for the manager or owner, the staff member said that this was their first day and they didn't know how to call the manager or owner.  When asked to speak with another employee, the staff member hung up the phone.The business created this misunderstanding entirely, needs to take full responsibility for their unprofessional behavior and provide a sincere and full apology along with assurance that the staff involved will be reprimanded and trained on that customer service means.  It is the customer that keeps a business in business but staff fail to appreciate that lesson, then they need to understand that the customer has the right to complain, go elsewhere and warn others of the abuse that was received so that other people do not find themselves in the same situation.
