Super Sport Sales

Review: I purchased a 1966 Chevrolet, Corvair for $16,500 from [redacted], owner of Super Sport Sales on May 23, 2013. The LISTING said at first 0 miles, then he said 15,500 miles. I spoke to the previous owner [redacted],of [redacted], tel ###-###-####, and he said the mileage was 115,500 miles. I have found the cars description to be very misleading and it grossly misrepresents the actual condition of the car. He claimed the restoration on the car was completed a couple of yrs. ago and I found out that the work had been done 7-8 yrs ago from [redacted] (###-###-####)from [redacted] and [redacted]. The vehicle was repaired not restored. He claimed the car was rust free. The corvair rocker panels on both sides rusted out and have been filled with foam. The corvair rocker panels are flush style and rain water needs to flow thru them like the drain pipes in a house. Since aboth rockers are filled with foam the water has no place to go and backs up dumping water onto the front floor area. The front wheel cyclinders are also rusted out and are leaking and must be replaced.The LISTING claim that "all of the mechanicals were done when restored". I have found the following: left front shock is leaking,rear shocks are ery old, both rear corner balance weights are missing, front sway bar bushing worn out, Rear springs have expanders installed to hide the fact that they have sagged, both left and right side heater hoses are worn out and ripped, the heater motor is shot, all motor mounts worn, transmission has leaks at several gasket/seals, gas tank filler neck hose is bulged, jack and lug wrench are not from a corvair. The LISTING said "All lights work perfect" The temp/pressure light doesnt work, glove compartment light doesn't work nor does the radio, and the courtesy lights, the directional signal indicators stopped working. All of the ground to engine straps are missing. The vehicle in its present condition will not pass the New York State safety inspetDesired Settlement: I believe that the original listing of this car was grossly misleading and I'm reguesting that they pick up the car and give a complete refund.
