Review: In November 2013 we took our 2006 Suburban in to purchase and have Super Store of Sound install a Pioneer touch screen radio. The owner was the one who worked with us. The radio installation and steering wheel module cost $1000. 9pm that same night we picked up our Suburban and had the owner show us how to use it. He did not know how to pair my phone to the Bluetooth feature which was one of the main reasons I wanted that stereo. He gave us another connector which he said was to connect the factory DVD player. I took our Suburban to another place that was recommended by a friend of ours, to have the hood looked at, while there I asked about paring my phone to the radio. He spent 20 minutes trying to get them to pare then he had his tech look at and figured out the radio was not installed correctly and added a toggle switch then everything worked and was able to pair my phone. Every call that came in said it sounded as if I was dragging my phone accrossed pavement. I took in the wires to the other company (who is Revdex.com acredited) and they said that was the missing parts that should have been installed. I also later discovered that it should not have cost us $1000 for that model and installation. At most should have cost $500. I went to a few other places and got estimates for the same model with installilation they all were half and said the quality of work bad. When I cleaned out our rig couple weeks later I found a roll of electrical tape and several wire clippings. Looking at the final invoice the date is incorrect and I can prove that. The date says 10/27/2012 that's inpossible because we didn't buy the Suburban until November 7, 2013. I have paperwork proving that. We feel that Super Store of Sound duped us and ripped us off.Desired Settlement: I would like a partial refund for this. I had to spend more money to undo what Super Store of Sound did with another company. I expect to pay for some of this but not the full $1000 especially when I had to spend more money with another company to fix their mistakes.
