Complaint[redacted] Tan Session blew air out of the sprayers and left the liquid in the bottle. Therefore I did not get any color in this spraying session.Thursday, May 22, 2014, arrived at Super Tans on [redacted] Road, [redacted] MS. Signed in to [redacted] Tan (I had purchased a 10 session package approx. a month before for 100.00). The sales clerk took the inner lid off the tanning bottle and put the top back on. I then put a hole in the top to ensure the liquid would come out the sprayers. I went into the [redacted] Tan compartment and put the bottle in the holder. I hold my hand under the holder and push the bottle firmly down into the holder to ensure it makes contact with the sprayers, as there have been former issues with these sprayers working properly. After the spraying began, I noticed as I moved around, it just kept spraying air. After I came out of the compartment, I immediately got an employee to come look at the "placement" of the bottle, so SHE could see it was properly inserted into the holder. I then asked HER to remove the bottle and she immediately saw that the majority of the liquid was still in the bottle, obviously indicating a problem. I went with her to the front where she let the other female employee working that day see and feel the tanning bottle. I asked right then that they call the owner and tell him about the sprayer issue. She refused!!! She said he was "busy" trying to get the air conditioner fixed and could not be bothered. ?? I asked if he "personally" was working on the air. She said no, so I told her I wanted her to call right then and my session to either be refunded or reset and the sprayers cleaned. She again refused!!! She said she would leave him a "note" and he could check it later and tell her what could be done. I called the next afternoon and this same female employee stated that the owner had come in that morning and checked the sprayers and they were just fine. So Sorry, you just lost a session. I asked for the owner's name and number to speak to him directly. She did give me that information. When I spoke to the owner, he was very rude about the whole thing. He told me I must have done something wrong, He'd checked the sprayers the next morning and they worked fine. He would not reset my session nor return my money. I'm not sure what to do since I still have 80.00 worth in 8 more sessions that I paid for. Obviously, they did something to fix the sprayers between the time I left on the afternoon of the May 22nd around 5:00 pm, and the next morning. I've used this [redacted] Tan many times and I KNOW I did not do anything wrong. Those girls working for this owner know I didn't do anything wrong either. And this is NOT supposed to be about my abilities but HIM providing a tanning service. When something goes wrong and the owner is requested to be called right then to deal with what is wrong, that should happen, esp. since he won't allow his employees to handle ANYTHING!!! As I stated, he has had issues with this [redacted] Tan in the past. The last time I had issues he "happened" to be there and had to fix it even though he wasn't happy about having to do it. If he doesn't want to be bothered, he shouldn't be in the "service" business.Desired SettlementI am seeking an apology for his rudeness first of all. Secondly I want my session "reset" and the employee that is there to put the tanning bottle in the sprayers to ensure "for him" that it is done correctly. That way if there is "another problem" he can't complain the customer did something wrong and he would "have" to fix it. Then I want the employee to insert the tanning bottle into the holder of the Mystic Tan compartment each time I come for the next 8 sessions I have left of my package to ensure I have "no" further issues. Then, honestly, I will go somewhere else with my business. If he doesn't want to comply with all of this, then I want 90.00 back since I only got to effectively use 1 session of a 10 session package for which I paid 100.00. Thank you for your help in this matter.

I paid to spray tan on 12/6/2013. The machine blew air only - the solution cartridge was still full after session. Owner denied there was a problem.I spray tan once a week in CA at home. I am very familiar with the Mystic Spray tan booth, the cartridges and how the booth operates. I paid for a spray tan and three extra additives on 12/6/2013. I got in the booth, the machine sprayed air (the solution and the extra additives that I paid for remained in the cartridge). The machine did not spray the solution. I know the difference. I called for the employee to come and look at the machine. I asked her to look at the cartridge and its' placement. She checked the machine, took out the cartridge and saw that it was still full of solution. She said that she did not know what to do so she called the owner by phone. She told me that the owner, [redacted], told her that he would not refund my money until "he had a chance to check the machine himself". She explained to him that she had the cartridge in her hand and that the machine clearly did not spray the solution. The owner hung up the phone and would not answer when his employee tried calling him back. I was visiting from out of town. I did not have much time to wait for Mr. [redacted] to give the refund The girl tried calling Mr. [redacted] back but he ignored her and he would not answer his phone. I left a note for Mr. [redacted] asking him to please call me. He never called. I called him back on the 7th - he was extremely defensive and very arrogant . He refused to refund my money or issue a credit stating that if he answered every complaint against his business, he would be out of business. I understand that there have been several complaints about this business and several reports filed with Revdex.com. All of which he has not answered. I would warn consumers not to go to this business. The owner is very much aware that his machine does not work properly but continues to take money from consumers. Some consumers might think they are being sprayed because of the "air" alone. Consumers need to check the cartridge at the end of their session to be sure they are actually sprayed with the solution. If the cartridge is still full, as in my case, this is fraud. You are paying for something that you are absolutely not getting. Mr. & Mrs. [redacted], the owners, were given my cartridge. They do know the machine does not work but they continue to sell the service.Desired SettlementA refund and random inspections by the health department and consumer affairs to be sure that the fraudulent activity stops and that individuals are treated honestly, fairly and with respect. Mr. [redacted] should have to provide the consumer with the service they are paying for. I will also be contacting the manufacturer of the spray tan booth as they are a very reputable company and need to be made aware of the reputation Mr. [redacted] is creating for their brand at his location due to service issues. My purpose is to make the consumer aware of this business' unethical business practices. Mr. [redacted] has no regard for his customers nor his employees. - On December the 6, 2013, there was a ice storm in the area of his business and it was extremely cold outside. I could literally see my breath inside his business. It was so cold inside his business where his employee was working. She had a very heavy coat on and was clearly very cold. When I asked her if she could turn up the heat, she replied "it is locked, the owner keeps the thermostat locked". This business owner is unbelievable. Not only does he deceive and take from his customers, from my observation, his employees are treated poorly also.

Owner of business terminated my membership is paid for the year he will not refund the rest of the yearThe owner of Super Tans was angry because I went into tan 25 minutes before they closed they close at 9 o'clock and it says you cannot tan 15 minutes before they close.which I was in there before that time. He was very rude on the phone. He told me if I can't come any earlier he was going to terminate my membership and he said that if it was every now and then it would be okay but they were very slow and I didn't need to come in there 30 minutes before they closed or he was going to terminate my membership. At first he said he was going to refund me the prorated amount for the rest of the year since I paid for the whole year. he now refuses to refund me anything and told me to take him to small claims court and that if I come in his businesses he will have me arrested because I went and tanned at his business 30 minutes before they closed! So my husband called him today to see when we could pick up the refund check and he was very rude to him and told him the same thing and that he would have him arrested if he came into any of his businesses. which he does not go into them anyways. I have used his business for 10 years. He is a horrible business owner. he treats his employees and his customers horribly and no one needs to go into his businesses and spend a dime of their money on such rudeness and fraud.Desired SettlementI paid 250 for the year in March. so he needs to ProRate me the remainder of the months until March 2015.
