Review: Jeff C[redacted] was hired in Early 2014 to rebuild our Two Family Home. During the time he was working He created violations on our home regarding construction, electric and plumbing due to no permits being posted. We have since cleared them at great expense to us. He did not attempt to cure the violation and walked off the job at 55percent as is on the original violation. The Plumbing on the top floor was horrendously done. The toilet was connected to the hot water service, the shower head was secured with putty, bathtub was chipped- tiles were not grouted and floor tiles were loose fine sand was everywhere. The bathroom and 5 rooms on the first floor was never completed. His crew consisting of a man named "Bob" and his sons cut all my drain pipes to the bathroom and gas pipes to the basement. They used my bathtub as a toilet bowl gathering flies and cement in my toilet bowl which we pulled out. We had to hire many people to cure his violations. He was paid In full in excess of 180,000 with a 55percent completion. We had to pay off the electrician he hired to complete lights and circuitbreakers. He is offering only for violation related expenses of 9,750 if We sign a complete release without any warranties on the work. He claims he was not licensed to provide plumbing and had no plumber to complete the job. We had to hire one to finish the heating baseboard he started and install a new boiler. He was allotted in his payment 8900 towards clean up and installation of heating system.Desired Settlement: We would settle for 9,750 plus the 8900 allotted to him for heating system and 707 we spent to haul garbage out of the basement filled with cartons and debris some of which came from his other jobs which my neighbors said he dumped in our home as he brought his trucks from Brooklyn. We were not living in the home at the time. The total of 19,357. I could consider a release if he warranties the roof and skylight he installed.
