I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ***, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
The *** made no attempt to rectify the situationHe did not offer any solution to this problemAll he wants to do is deny deny denyHe clearly states that since the damage occurred during the drying process he can not accept responsibility If it had happened in the washing process would he then be held liable? No matter the circumstance the *** will 100% always refuse to accept responsibility He has made countless excuses during this whole process varying from blaming the customer to saying nothing is wrong with the machine Once the incident happened in the dryer the dryer was put "Out of Order" so how many people were actually using that dryer? I am a hard working woman and do not have time to try and swindle someone out of a free wash at their laundromat I understand that *** *** has his own life but he should also take care of his loyal customers that help support his establishment He is a horrible businessman who never ONCE apologized for the unfortunate situation

wasn't successful. My laundromat doesn't use any grease or tar on our machine. I must have other customer's complains if our machine had grease or tar. I never received any complains from other customers for dry machine # 61, specially it was a busy Sunday with many customer's used the same machine. Thank you for being our valued customer and understanding.

Review: On 4/**/2015 I washed my clothes at this establishment. Once the wash was done, I placed my clothes in dryer number 61. Prior to placing my clothes in the dryer, I checked the dryer for any objects and/or materials etc. The dryer was empty so I proceeded to dry my clothes. Once my clothes had finished drying and I removed them from the dryer, I noticed that at least 5 items had black stains all over them. These stains looked like grease from the machine or as another customer who witnessed the interaction put it "tar". I informed the lady at the counter who quickly insinuated that it was eye-liner. I nicely let her know that it was not eye-liner because I do not wear make up. She said she would try to re-wash them and let the [redacted] know. The lady washed them two additional times and the stains did not come out. A few hours later, the [redacted] says that the stains did not come out and the reason my clothes were stained is because I left something in my pocket. I quickly showed him the pockets of my clothes which were satin free. Realizing his error, he then quickly says it looks like grease. I asked him to explain where the grease could have come from because I do not have a habit of randomly putting grease in laundromat dryers. He then says its not his responsibility to check the dryer after each customer uses the machines. I told him its not about checking after each customer but rather making sure his machines are clean and running smoothly so they do not cause damage. If clothes are damaged by the machines in his laundromat- through no fault of the customer then [redacted] should be held liable. His machine RUINED my work clothing. He did not even apologize. He never checked the machine to see if there could have been something wrong with the dryer. His first reaction was to blame the customer. [redacted] should be ashamed of himself that this is how he treats hard working people from the neighborhood. He should be held accountable. I have been washing my clothes at his place for a long time but I will never go back there.Desired Settlement: Either a refund for the services on 4/**/2015 or compensation towards the damaged clothing.
