Superior A/C & Refrigeration

We called Superior Air Conditioning & Refrigeration, Inc. when one of four air conditioning units was not blowing cool air. The repairman came out on 9/15/11 and diagnosed a faulty thermostat; he also changed the filters in all four of the units and charged us $400.As the summer season was ending, we didn't use the air conditioner following the thermostat replacement. The following summer, the air conditioning worked for part of the season, then once again, failed to blow cool air. When we called Superior Air Conditioning once again on 5/30/13 and requested a service person come out and diagnose the problem correctly, we were told that they would charge us for the service call. We said that we were charged a ridiculous amount of money the first time--$400 for a thermostat and four filters--and we didn't think it fair that we would have to pay again for what we'd already paid. The customer service representative repeatedly stated that the owner said it was company policy to charge for the call regardless of the circumstances.Superior Air Conditioning failed to diagnose the problem correctly, replaced a thermostat that did not need to be replaced, charged an exorbitant amount, and then refused to address the issue unless we paid additional charges.
